Damn...you must wake up in the morning and want to commit suicide....everything posted is doom and gloom....
This world isn't THAT fucked up that nothing good ever happens.
Every day an ultra conservative is proven wrong and eats shit is a good day.
^^^^
Never seen a more negative human being....damn, who pissed in your Cheerios?
Do you ever post an uplifting blog???
I think OP posted that the drink mix for Moscow Mule was good and he did post a nice blog on John Lewis.....but everything else is doom and gloom....
At least he’s not a mindless partisan.
^^^
Spoken like a true leftist...the least accepting and inclusive group in America.
Name calling is all that happens....post some facts, give some data....
I am a partisan...yes, But so are you and so is the OP.
I can list dozens of blogs by the OP that are doom and gloom on a site that should have some fun and pleasure...
So my statement is factual......
Wow.
No wonder you are looking for the government to save you from everything.
Actually jazz, your last comment is an opinion. a good solid one, but still an opinion.
Butt seriously (pun intended) did you not chuckle at the death fart?
How did you ever take the original post seriously?
Do you want me to systematically count all of your negative blogs? It might take me days. And when someone pisses and moans constantly, you don’t take it humorously. The boy that cried wolf....
And jazz51, everything you write is copied from the conservative media playbook without thought.
At first I thought this blog was about Fubars Death Darts
When the truth was revealed, I was both oddly fascinated and incredibly bored
Nature is amazing but at the end of the day, who gives a fuck about termite gastronomy?
I find Jazz consistently conservative but not a mindless partisan
Sherky is the same on the opposite side of the spectrum but has an inquisitive mind
Sometimes, he reaches too far in his quest to be interesting, and falls flat
Give him credit for trying though
No one gets it 100% of the time
Not even GBD!
Well GBD... what percentage of Chicken Little’s blogs would you consider interesting?
Just to move from opinion to more fact...
Of the last 24 blogs by OP....18 were something negative or pessimistic, 3 were positive and 3 were 'neutral'.
I could go further, but 24 is a decent sample size.

Night rider...
Yes, I am conservative.
I honor this country, it's flag, it's tradition, and all the right things that happen here.
I believe in less government and believe the people should decide, not the government.
I believe that the Federal government should stay in its lane....those duties enumerated in the Constitution and leave the rest for the States, which is what our Founding Fathers outlined.
I believe we are NOT entitled to anything other than a chance at success. Life, Liberty and the PURSUIT of Happiness....that happiness is NOT guaranteed.
People need to work for what they get.....it is NOT the place for government to take from some to give to others when those OTHERS could have worked hard, gotten an good education and made something of themselves. Look at all the success stories, blacks, whites, immigrants, Asians, Hispanics who have a dream, work hard and achieve it. That is the American Dream.....and the socialists want to tear that down and give everything to everybody.
Healthcare, college education, chicken in every pot are NOT rights or guaranteed. You have to work for them. If you don't have healthcare, make more money or go to a company that provides those benefits. Don't expect that everyone else will pay for you.
Now I do have a 'soft' side. There are some less fortunate people who deserve help. But if your problem was your own doing....that is on you.
The Bernie Bros want their tuition loans forgiven....NOT.....They didn't have to pick an expensive college and no body made them sign those loan documents. That is on them.....oops, and they didn't have to pick a major that has NO job possibilities.
We can't have unrestricted immigration. There are billions of people who want to be here...we cannot accommodate them all. Do we need some changes in the immigration laws, yes. But open borders and constant forgiveness of people who come here illegally is NOT the answer.
At least I am consistent in my beliefs. Unlike the Democratic candidate for President, who has changed his position on nearly everything possible. I have NO idea what Joe Biden stands for...but he is being influenced by people who are far left and I want something left of this country for my heirs......
Yeah, about that healthcare, education concept.... isn’t that early 20th century attitude?
We are the greatest nation in the world and we cannot offer the people who live here a better quality of life with fundamentals?
It's called Capitalism, horrible system but the best of the lot.
Just watch "How China Got Rich"
to see where Socialism gets you and......
how fast you can get rich, or at least a lot better off
with capitalism and freedom of choice, etc. etc.
They went from starving dirt poor to #2 in GDP in incredibly short period of time.
And, no it isn't always fair but when is life always fair???
Just on this site, i have to see Dumb Doofy and Gloom Guy
How is that fair?

sherkhan...
We do offer them a better quality of life.....they have to earn it.
We do not have enough money to feed, clothe and provide medical assistance to 6 billion people. That is probably how many who would love to live here.
I am fine with helping those who can't help themselves. But everyone else....work for it.

Jazz -- You basically presented just a list of shibboleths that oversimplify the problems in the world.
People change their mind or have a complex view of how to solve problems because the problems they are solving are generally complex and take more than just a knee-jerk ideological point of view to solve them.
You can start from an ideology, but in a complex system, be prepared to make exceptions when complexity arises.
I personally think that heatlhcare is a good case in point. I think the traditional free market system that we should use for most things fails here. A system with price controls like the Swiss system works better. (Not a fan of too much government like Medicare for all).
