Looks like both parties have very serious issues.
DJT didn't get elected by Reps alone
Theres a large swath of disaffected voters not feeling served by the current parties
Trump riding off into the sunset will not, by itself, resolve that
They will continue the search for someone who will gut the regulatory state, fix the education system, and open the way to job creation.
In that vein, the pandemic many actually help, ironically enough.

And that is a conversation on another tangent. My point is that Republicans Who are not Trump loyalists are setting up their long game to survive the fallout of the election and any Pro Trump GOP leaders who get fired.
The ranks are beginning to break as they vie for political survival and “the scraps”. While they are not outright sabotaging each other, they seem to know which way the winds of change will blow.

You should use a few more analogies for impact... like... “It’s like we are just re-arranging the deck chairs on the titanic.”

@Jazz51 and he's supposed to beat Trump.
I hope Trump wins but if he doesn't the media will cover for any Biden admin. errors or
mistakes, whereas with Trump, they blame him for everything.
If you think Trump was bad, Biden will be worse as POTUS, but of course the Dems and the
media will continue to blame Trump.
Many of the major cities have been run by Dems for decades, yet they continue
to fail to resolve the issues of discrimination, police brutality, poor education, etc.
They say it's a racist thing.
Yet we have plenty of Black politicians, Black entertainers, and Black professional athletes,
many who are multimillionaires.
More Blacks have been killed by their own race since the George Floyd protests.
Democrats = Hypocrisy

Biden looks like he needs someone to wipe his own ass...and people actually want him as President. The most stressful job in the world...that guy won't last a year. So remember, who he selects as VP will be our President very shortly.

I've been reading the same op-ed articles as gloom guy
DJT did hijack the party but at the behest of a large number of voters who no longer felt served
Regardless of when he goes, there will be a reevaluation internally
That's a constant ongoing process as parties evolve
If you look over the last 100 years, the 2 major parties have mostly swapped places, slowly morphing into their rival as their coalition reformed. If they didn't, they go the way of the Whig party.
I say a pox on both their houses.
