I don't know if Trump will win are not.
I really really hope not.
It really hard to beat any incumbent President no matter who it is.
If he does decide to run after the convention he will do everything he can to win and dump Pence.
What I do know is it seems clear that Trump has been trying to do the same thing he did in 2016.
All he did is say the election is going to be "RIGGED".
He said it over and over and over before the election.
Then soon as he won the "RIGGED" part magically disappeared. Now another election and "RIGGED" has seemed to have returned.
He trying to find someway if he loses to cause confusion.
The way he's setting it up is he keeps saying mail in voting are going to be fraudenlent and many keep saying that we have never had a problem with it. The way I think this election can be derailed is if Russia or a conduit of Trump's in the voting system actually does put some obvious fraud in some state in this election. Trump then will go crazy about it and refuse to leave office till every vote in America is hand counted or something like that.
I remember Micheal Cohen briefly saying when he was interviewed by Congress that Trump won't leave office.

I know he meant 1960 although I am doubtful that Trump was referring to WWI. My recollection was that Daley definitely manipulated the votes in Cook County but the Republicans did the same thing in the southern part of the state. Regarding Texas, Nixon blamed the right-wing nuts who roughed up Lady Bird on the eve of the election. It is also notable that Nixon lost Texas to Humphrey in 1968.

I doubt that the Trump campaign will replace Pence with Haley or some other woman but I would not be surprised if it happened. I think it is fairly evident that the Trump campaign put out "feelers" about replacing Pence since they are getting desperate. It is not only the bad polls numbers but the lack of anything sticking to Biden. Their messaging - Biden is corrupt, Biden is senile, Biden is the mastermind behind BLM, etc. just doesn't seem to have much appeal except to the right wing nuts that form Trump's core base. The element that really makes the Trump campaign nervous is the crystal clear fact that Trump isn't running about Biden, he is running against the coronavirus and losing badly. While the statistics show some improvement over the past two weeks, the future looks bleak. Unless there is a significant change by election day it will be a very big blue wave.
