Pour one out for College Football?

Big 10 and Pac 12 killed fall sports for 2020 over long term Covid worries - not necessarily dying or spreading it around, but heart conditions and unknown variables in recovered athletes. And primarily, liability.

Covid finally hits home...Fuck Covid!

Yep liability and covid heart complications... sad but probably best choice.

Seems NFL teams are spending around $20million each to have covid safety. Not likely in NCAA budgets

Coaches put on a drama show to demonstrate they are more about money than player safety. Kept saying " they are safer on the field"... like what?! Put all students out there then...

I imagine SEC and maybe ACC will still try to play... because well where they are located lol. Not clear any players will show up though...

I thought this was a thread about college football... but then the Pac12 was mentioned and I realized it was about intramural football.

Lol...

So interesting.
CFB (& the contracts that accompany it) are the lifeline & major income source for a lot of universities & subsidizes other sports within these schools.
College towns are built around these campuses and survive due to the crowds that are drawn in full of students and spectators.
Maybe we should pour one out for higher education as we know it too?

USC had good times under Pete Carroll when it was PAC10.

SEC dominates but it's always a defensive battle with baseball scores.
