Mail in voting, particularly in California, is already flawed. People want to know who will be the next president on the day of the election and that simply isn't possible if all of the voting is done by mail. If they follow the process that California used in the primary, we will have a lot of dead people that can send in ballots. My mother received a ballot for my grandfather who has been dead for several year. If she had wanted to, she could have voted twice.

Now, about the mail in voting, if the voter rolls can be cleaned up and it can be guaranteed only one vote for each living american citizen who wants to vote then I have no issue. Sadly, neither requirement can be met by November.

The Post Office has been a disaster for over 30 years, run up a deficit of $78 Billion, too many unionized employees serving too many rural locations with a decline of first class mail of over 30% in recent years..........how many letters do you send to dear old grandma these days?

-Mail-in voting has already been proven to not be accurate. People who have died still get sent mail-in ballots, someones dead cat was sent a mail-in ballot. Rigging the election is the only chance Dems have of getting Biden/Harris in the White House, Who by the way have put more blacks in prison than other campaign.
-Obama illegally used federal resources to spy on the Trump campaign. Russian collusion was fake from the beginning.
-Obama illegally sent guns to Mexico in an effort to attack the 2A, including 50 caliber rifles. Those guns were than used to kill USMC veteran, Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Those guns were also used to kill hundreds of Mexican civilians. Obama was the most corrupt president in history, not Trump.

There are some cities where there are purposely very few polling places and this election is going to have a HUGE turn out. People who could be at risk are not going to want to stand around other people for hours to vote. The NBA is helping in some major NBA cities letting their arenas be used for voting so people can spread out.

Different locations will require different solutions for safe voting. Some places are lightly affected by Covid and can proceed normally. Other places will require careful thought toward solutions. The notion that mail-in voting is the only solution I completely reject and I believe in volume it is one of the poorest solutions. Each local has nearly 3 months to figure it out and should use that time wisely..

It takes years for a route to be adjusted, many studies to place a mail box in front of a store, nothing gets done at the post office without a whole hellva lot of studies labor and negotiations. The moving of these boxes was authorized under the Clinton administration and the Union just got around to doing the work cus the optics are opportune. Lol

No, there is truth in what Dude says. They've been removing collection boxes, decommissioning sorting machines, cancelling overtime pay. The post office is going to be detrimentally affected by this at a time when we're going to need them to deliver all of these ballots. It makes it more likely they're not going to get ballots where they need to be on time. They've just written 46 states and admitted there will likely be delays. It's been shown that Democrats will be depending more on these mail-in ballots than Republicans, so this chaos at the USPS is going to likely help Republicans. To make these changes a few months before the election sounds like pure politics to me.
