Actually, this is the second brother Donald trump has lost, Fred Trump Jr died at 43 in 1981 and now his younger brother Robert. Wherever your politics fall, we all grieve losing a family member particularly a sibling.

He did not die of COVID.
He was hospitalized after a fall a month ago and received treatment for a brain bleed.
He was back in again with more bleeding on the brain that could not be controlled, which was the cause of his passing (stroke).
President Trump has now lost both of his brothers. It is a sad day at the White House, for sure.
