California has corrupt politicians?
Shocking - simply shocking.

Funny story about unions... I am a non union contractor and was hired by SEIU to do work in one of their offices.
They asked us to work nights so no one would find out they hired us (non-union).
Also years ago I accidentally hired a salt... 8 months later were having a vote to unionize my labor... I lost but when the guys got their first checks they all complained about how little money they got. Idiots thought they would make more....

Corruption in Cali? I am shocked and appalled
Makes me think of Blazing Saddles:
Governor Lepetomane : Holy underwear! Sheriff murdered! Innocent women and children blown to bits! We have to protect our phoney baloney jobs here, gentlemen! We must do something about this immediately! Immediately! Immediately! Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!..
You guys are so lame.
California would never permit political corruption and payoffs.
Never I say! Never!
California government for the people?
With a spending procedure like a drunken sailor.
The pyramid scheme is not a permanent solution.
It is only a matter time before reality catches up.
The state will have to file for bankruptcy.
Again...Blazing Saddles to the State's rescue
Governor Lepetomane : What the hell is this?
Hedley Lamarr : This is the bill that will convert the state hospital for the insane into the William J. Le Petomane memorial gambling casino for the insane.
Governor Lepetomane : [standing up proudly] Gentlemen, this bill will be a giant step forward in the treatment of the insane gambler.

I thought California was the only state that made Behested Payments transparent. Not that California is the only state that has behested payments but rather the only state where that information is readily available. Of course, this is nary an issue for GBD since he is all errors and no facts. If you really want to see scandalous behested payments, check out the Trump Inaugural budget in 2016. All $107 million of behested payments. Hit up anybody that wanted to do business with the Trump administration. Talk about corruption.
If CA is so bad.....why do all of you Trump supporting morons live here?
We actually lived in this state BEFORE all the fucking Hollywood and liberal types fucked it up.
Because some of us were born here.
That was pre lib tard
Poor Quat, no ain't got squat
Yup, the good old days - when Orange County was really the Orange Curtain, when being a member of the local John Birch chapter was a badge of honor, when Sam Yorty was LA mayor and Darryl Gates headed up the police department and when people couldn't wait to see the latest episode of Dragnet, when UCLA basketball was king and the Dodgers won the World Series. Those were the days. Time to move to Texas.
GBD - can't you come up with another better than Quat/Squat. What a lame cretin you are.
sorry, meant anything better.
I'm not sure what the fuss is about the behested payment information.
Go in deeper and look at the individual payments, you can click the link and then type in Newsom and you will find where the majority of that money comes from.
Not saying politicians aren't corrupt, just that behested payments are not the smoking gun you were looking for.
No Quat....the days when we actually had a very strong middle class. Hollywood filmed things here before all of the regulations and bureaucratic red tape drove them elsewhere.
When we had manufacturing jobs, including aerospace, automotive, furniture, and a wide array of other industries.
When unions didn't have the politicians in their back pockets....
When we didn't lead the nation in poverty and homelessness.....
There Were Ford plants , GM plants, numerous tire manufacturers, Lockheed, General Dynamics, Autonetics, and so on. In California
The middle class had places to work so you could even buy a house with what you earned.
Now how much was spent on the moonbeam to nowhere?
They never could afford to build it
and north american rockwell, mcdonnel douglas, northrup, all run out of the state from ridiculous taxes and such
"GBD - can't you come up with another better than Quat/Squat. What a lame cretin you are."
Never would deny being a lame cretin but i don't see any reason to respond to your comments when you make a sweeping generalization about my comments when we both know that I've provided plenty of facts and supporting links.
" Of course, this is nary an issue for GBD since he is all errors and no facts."
So, back at ya Squat
I mean, at least you're not as weak as Dumb Doofy......you actually make an effort to provide info and facts. It's usually weak on rationale and biased in nature always lefty but unlike so many others, you make an attempt.
I have 3 manufacturing clients that have all left CA in the last year. Taxation, regulation, and simple things like trying to secure building permits to expand the business....DUH.....how crazy....a company that is growing and will add more jobs.....go away, we don't want you here.

California leads or is among the leaders of this country (and probably the world) in Technology, entertainment, tourism, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and probably other categories. We have gold, oil, timber.
This state ought to be so rich that every year it’s citizens get a check in the mail, like Alaska.
What we have is high taxes, politicians trying to raise taxes, thousands of homeless, high crime, high incarceration, cities that look like third world countries.
Who would you like to hold responsible?
The party in power, possibly?
No Chuck....all of California's problems are because of Donald Trump......
*Texas...its like if the inland empire was a state.*
LOL
Whoooo...thats a lot of NyQuil!
