A lot of my relatives are going with Trump this time, from what they tell me and they've always been die hard dems. Some of their friends as well. Makes me wonder how many other Amer. Indians are changing their minds on which political party they're going to support.
I have a few friends from 50 years ago that don't like trump...OR they don't pay attn enough and only hear the soundbites
so I get the trump is only in this to enrich himself....he wants to buy Greenland to put a hotel there...he pulls troops out of the middle east to help turkey as he has big buildings and hotel there.
so you can imagine the hair going up in the back of my neck....these are smart people, but they acknowledge they don't pay attn. I SAY start paying fucking ATTN and quit spouting stupid shit...they get a little taken back
When one of my cousins told me he was voting for Trump this year I was blown away. But he still lives on the res and has been involved with tribal council for a few years. Over the last 8-10 years the federal government has been trying to take back reservation land. After a bunch of searching he's convinced it's the dems that are pushing it.
May be a lot of Amer. Indians switching parties to Independent if not repub.
so there we go....we got blacks, browns, yellows and reds...not to mention a few gay fuckers leaving the dem party...this should be a blowout
kidding aside...the cool thing about all this...lots of conversations and people interested in politics...kinda fun to have some spirited conversations

It's nice that we can actually have a 'spirited' discussion or conversation or at least talk. That's the only way the left, right and center will ever figure out a way to come together and start fixing actual problems instead of focusing on fake ones.
We have to quit seeing each other as demons and realize we just have a different opinion based on a different point of view - and that's okay.

It's a great clip and considering that the gay guy in your previous clip was the one who started the #walkaway campaign in 2017 IIRC and it's still being used is a testament to how dissatisfied people are becoming with the dem party.
But what do you expect when the head of the dnc says aoc is the 'future' of the party.
i fully expected 2 of the fab4 to get taken out in the primaries with their extreme views and shenanigans....they all won pretty handily...leaves me a little worried about where this could be headed long term.....maybe not this election though.
the walk away movement is good...interesting to hear their stories on the other side and they pressure they face...gives a little peak into why the polls could be way out of whack again...even more so than '16
That's what I'm thinking - the poll numbers are completely skewed. If I'm right then it'll be another surprise win and the main stream media will be left with egg on their face once again. For some reason that just makes me so giddy with pleasure.
there was some talk about the fox polling issues....just out of memory of it...but they are sampling like 24 percent on gop side when 33 percent ended up voting in 16...not taking that into acct
my numbers are probably off by one or two...but the gist is in the ball park of what some of the issues are
