I find it interesting that the Dems are still promoting all the free "stuff" that will
be available if Biden is elected, when most of the Dems states are broke
due to a continued shutdown of their economies.
How can they possibly pay for all the free "stuff," they are promoting.
This extended shutdown, promoted by the Blue states, has destroyed
a huge part of the U.S. economy.
MORE HURT TO COME!

Read nypost.com for a week. Never mind your charts and figures which describe the past.
Crime is through the roof, homeless are fucking up decent neighborhoods because DeBlasio is housing them in those neighborhoods. He's a crook who put's in 30 hour weeks and who's got his wife a fake job with a fake staff. They've reached a tipping point. Anybody with the means and half a brain will move out. There is no Rudy Giuliani or Mike Bloomberg on the horizon to pull off a save, and even if there was, there are to many 'gimme that free stuff' voters to overcome.
DeBlasio and Cuomo did an almost criminally bad job with the Covid. Cuomo squashed an investigation of nursing home practices during the early stages which caused hundreds to thousands of deaths . CNN, MSNBC, WaPost and NY Times, of course, gloss that shit over - if they even report on it. And of course they are both anti-cop and will do anything to make the life of a criminal as carefree as possible. No-bail revolving door policies that even criminals find difficult to believe.
A friend who lives there tells me that some apartment buildings are almost empty. Next up: squatters.

There is MUCH more money out there than we are being told. I am down the middle of the road, so I care less about your party affiliation. As the Trumpers say "fuck your feelings" - well that goes for them too. The reason money is rat-holed and stashed away is because neither party fully trusts the other to be in charge of the whole piggy bank. Let's say for example the Dems piss everyone off by taxing them- but they end up with a surplus of money- well the Repubs get in and squander that money on tax cuts for the rich and their own pet projects. Anyone remember W's "smallpox detectors" and "dolphins with bite cuffs in their mouths- to handcuff terrorists at ports planting underwater bombs?" So, we will be fine- BOTH sides use fear to control. Already seeing the ads for Trump- who will you call when there are no police- such bullshit propaganda. But, the Dems do it too- NOW pandering to people that felt left out before, in the rust belt, where Hillary didn't even go.
But, back to point- where is the money coming from? Not really you or I- the amount we pay even if earning well is "chump change" to the fees they get for building projects and property taxes. If you want an eye opener- just go to LADBS like you are going to grab a building permit- pick up the pending projects list and see the many underway and planned in the Billions, with a B, per project. Get a "DUI" and watch the money that goes to the system. Open a business and watch the fees rack up. There is money POURING in, as we speak and everyone is supposed to be so broke. We lived through the "great recession" and will be back from this too. As far as people leaving- it is blown out of proportion- people need to travel and see shit with their own eyes before they hand their brains over to the media. I recently had to move a family member back from Oregon. I though we would see a steady stream of Uhauls in mass exodus. What I saw was TONS, coming IN to CA. If you think I am full of shit- try driving north from LA toward the 805 on ANY freeway, pick one. Even worse from OC to VC- 101, 405, 60, 91- Hell even PCH has been jammed (before summer beach goers, even). CA is a huge market; sure AZ,TX and UT are trying to lure our Silicon Valley away, but they keep coming back because our talent pool is deeper and our weather is better, not at the moment (hot as fuck) but generally we aren't battling flooding or excessive heat. And those that want to leave, please do- there are already (3) in line waiting for something to be built where they can live, to take your spot in our great "cesspool."

A lot of truth to the video...
" After Bandwidth "
Technology is so good now, virtual meetings will take the place of a lot in-person meetings that would have normally taken place... Thus reducing the demand for Air travel, Hotels, Restaurants, Retail shopping, etc...
It's very difficult to see the future, but I know from my experiences, that if a big deal is coming down the pipeline, people will meet in person... You don't do big business with people that you haven't met, and have had an opportunity to formulate an opinion on their character, judgement, and strategic thought processes...

sorry dude but Glen Beck has as much credibility as a turd . If you are following him or that idiot on infowar you pretty much lost your credibility to argue anything political. Just as much as if you follow Bill Mahr. These guys are nothing more than talking heads for either side. One would think you would do a tad more research before posting dumb ass shit on line based on opinion.
You know what they say about opinion ? every asshole got one.
Fuck Glen Beck

My mistake. North Dakota is also a red state. Given a choice, I would rather live in North Korea than North Dakota.
^^^^^
Proves beyond a doubt his stupidity. Do you know anyone who has ever lived in North Korea? Do you know anything about the economy, restrictions, etc. of North Korea? Obviously not.
Quat, you fail to read what I said.
I said that it's a mixture of red and blue states that carry the weight.
California is no longer a donor state. Why is that?
NYC as brought to you by Cuomo and DeBlasio and their Progressive policies. Just wait till they bring their techniques to the Federal level.
@jazzy51, that was joke comparing North Korea and North Dakota. Clearly, you have never been to North Dakota. Of course, I know that N. Korea is, to put it mildly, a brutal dictatorship. I will watch what I say next time because I now realize that you have no sense of humor.
Yes, I have been to North Dakota...but I would prefer there to any communist regime.
I have a sense of humor...but your joke was pathetic.

One of the main reason a State is Donor state "the residents pay more money to the fed than they receive " is due to the state having more rich people.
California has dropped to sending out $1 for every 99 cents they receive.
They were once a juggernaut when it came to sending money out. What has changed? And what is California solution to this problem?

I thought the problem was with the PC left. Now, even the anti-PC folks have problems with jokes. Trump makes an absurd comment and the Trumpites brush it off as he was just kidding, you don't really think he said that seriously. I didn't make the comment about building a fucking resort in North Korea or praise Kim Jong-un as a greater leader or send him love letters. Your asshole hero did. Maybe you should set him straight. And, irrespective of what you say, you have no sense of humor.
Hey, rocket man hasn't launched any recent shots across Japan has he? So whatever Trump has done has at least slowed him down a bit...better than the past 4 administrations.
Jazz51 don't you wish a couple of these guys would put their walk where their opinion is and take a stroll in downtown Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago or NYC to view first hand the success of the progressive government model...
@ Straightman,
I think what you don't understand is that the progressive model has never been accomplished in this country. Every time America starts in that direction "the people" get antsy and then they put the Republicans in charge, who act as brakes by running up huge deficits and underfunding things and crashing the economy now and then with their rampant skimming off the top.
That's where the economic history stands as of today.
The Republicans manipulate anxiety by pointing at things that are not what they say.
Witness your pointing at progressivism as the cause of homelessness. It's not.
Witness the current hysteria on the right regarding "socialism"
If you spend some time in a country with the "progressive" system, the problems you point out, mostly homelessness and undereducation don't exist. You're always going to have homeless with substance and mental health issues, so that's also part of the solution.
People pay higher taxes and they have a lot to show for it.
I doubt America will ever achieve a proper progressive state because the country is burdened by YaaHoos and Hysterics.
I've borrowed this link from another blog because it illustrates my point.
staightman, any walk would result in stepping in shit, on needles and around homeless. And they can check out all the wonderful "artwork" in Portland throughout downtown on the sides of all buildings....
Too bad there isnt a grass roots political movement where dems & reps would be on the same ticket & share the executive office switching between president and VP every 2 years or something...
@kayman
IMO, campaign finance reform would help quite a bit.
When you've got crackpot billionaires like Sheldon Adelson setting agendas that have nothing to do with my day to day and everything to do with his own self-interest - How is something reasonable is ever going to get done? Adelson is the biggest political donor and he owns a bunch of casinos.
Hmm, let me see, do I need my offshore gambling profits protected? Check!
My whole life as a voter there's been promises to reform immigration laws.
I think that's a requirement for a progressive agenda.
Shit needs to be settled so numbers can be proposed that make sense.
Education is always a good investment.
Educated people have fewer children and contribute more to the tax base.
Slows growth, raises revenues. Win Win.
I think if some of this hot button bullshit that people use to stoke the fires were set into law and taken off the table we might get somewhere.
I meant slows population growth, (not economic growth)
This should make the nativists happy. ?
Maybe not, nothing makes the nativists happy.
