I'm watching it more than I watched the Dems. Why? No fucking clue.
First impressions: They are too negative. Just watched Kimberley Guilfoyle, who is gorgeous by the way, give a very negative, dramatic doom-and-gloom speech. American carnage to the nth power.
Not a lot of substance, just negativity.
I think they need to try to be more positive. Hard to do with whom you have at the top, but not impossible.
Speeches from less famous people on specific issues (school safety) were better. Maybe stick with them.

Also, it's going to be hard to run on law and order when your guy is already the President. If the Dems were in power (Johnson in 1968), I think it would be easier to say that the new guy (Nixon) will be the law and order President. But Trump has been the President and these things are happening with him in charge.
Calls for law and order change would be more useful if this was a Republican mayoral campaign with a Democratic mayor in charge.

Richie rich was really funny. 
Haley contradicted herself in her speech at least twice.
She (said) the Dems said this was a racist country.

I would say the base liked it but thats about it.
The production was good but they should have changed up the location the speakers were speaking from.
The Dems first night with Michelle Obama's speech was better by a mile.
