I think you think that way because Trump won last time when Hillary was expected to win. Trump was that basically a new-to-politics, maverick, anti-establishment business figure, which is appealing, and some thought, "Let's give him a chance." This year is different. We know from four years that Trump is very limited in what he can do. And with that, I think the polls are correct this time. He is going to lose.

Yes, Trump is a flailing, egotistical buffoon - but it wouldn't be the first time we elected a politician like that. What IS new (at least to this century) is a political party aiding and abetting violence, that sugar-coats arson, vandalism, and fighting withe the cops as "peaceful protest". The Democrats are SO desperate to secure the black vote that they are willing to spread the lies perpetuated by BLM, spinning every dirtbag criminal with dark skin pigmentation who choses to fight with the police, or run from the police, or wave something that looks like a gun at the police, into some innocent "unarmed black man" and a martyr. Couple that with the thuggish antisocial "gangsta rap" culture polluting the airways and minds of the young and uneducated, and basically they are sowing the seeds for a civil war and by all appearances, a racial war. Under those circumstances, many of us would prefer to deal with the lesser of two evils. Comprende?

New poll out of Wisconsin has Trump up 46.2%-45.4%. This time in 2016 the crooked one was up by a much more comfortable margin. Last poll out of Wisconsin in 2016 had her up 6 points and Trump ended up winning anyway. Minnesota is tied and it hasn't gone Republican since 1972. Michigan and Pennsylvania will be close but so will Arizona. Texas and georgia will stay red but Arizona will likely be closer than 2016.

Nightline was analyzing this last night & one pundit reminded us that people voted in the 2018 mid-term elections at Presidential election year #s. That's when Dems kicked Repugs out of office & got the House back in Dem hands.

They came out to vote in California, new York and other liberal states. Florida still elected a Republican governor and Republican beat the incumbent Democrat senator.
