Your chance of surviving Covid-19. is 99.6% according to the CDC.

The continued shutdown in Dem states has destroyed the lives of
millions of people through bankrupt businesses and high unemployment.
We also have states and cities who don't have the revenue to operate
efficiently since they deliberately shutdown the source of their revenue,
businesses.
But the Dems continue to say this is all Trumps fault.
Trump is only the POTUS. He is not a dictator who can command
obedience. It's mainly Dem governors and local officials who command obedience,
or you will be harshly punished., unless you are a protester or homeless.
They have the freedom to do whatever they want.

USC... who canceled in-person classes have over 100 new cases on campus THIS WEEK. Parties, bar-b-que’s, birthday parties, houses of worship, etc... those are not Newsom’s and Garrcetti’s fault. I’m not a fan of either of those guys.... but blaming them is stupid.
Blaming Trump for the nearly 13,000 deaths in California or tens of thousands in other states is even more stupid.

Never have seen anyone use the Whitehouse as a backdrop for a political convention.
All and all I thought the convention got very boring.
Production was good but the visual where the speakers spoke was the same over and over and became very boring.
They had like 20 black speakers and their less than a hand full of blacks actually in his entire administration.
Really a lot of lies and over exaggerations. Things were really over the top trying to scare people.
High points Pence delivered his speech well but it was full of lies.
The woman whose husband was killed during riots was touching but the next day the young ones got on TV and said their dad wasn't a Trump supporter.
I think Trump will evaporate any good will he got from the convention in less than 10 days with some usual crazy tweets or crazy talk.
I actually think the convention was effective. The base must have loved it along with a few people leaning Trumps way. Most people likely watched it and laughed.

I missed about 50 percent of the first day as fox fucked up and thought people wanted to hear them talk over the speakers. the next few days I dvr'd c-span (which is not in HD??) was able to go to it when fox still pulled their shit
white house hatch act will not come into play...one of the considerations this late in the game (after trying two other places) was safe security and cost of security and really no need to do too much with security at the white house. it was a pretty cool sight

Trump is a president who isn't transparent, lacks humility, lacks honesty, lacks integrity, doesn't communicate well, doesn't set good examples, blames rather than offer solutions, doesn't unify, doesn't have a plan and as leader is responsible for directing the country. The federal government is supposed to assist states, not penalize them because the majority of that state voted for the political opponent.
Trump sure likes to cozy up to dictators and he has the traits of one too.

People seem to forget that the number of deaths would be a lot higher if we did nothing. More like 500,000+, not 180,000 dead.
While Trump was frozen doing NOTHING, both Democratic and some Republican governors quickly acted in March to prevent disaster by initiating lockdowns.
Trump undermined this by vacillating back and forth by supporting the governors and then by supporting protestors of the lockdowns (e.g. tweeting the support to gun wielding fools in Michigan).
Trump’s support of governors in giving them the resources they needed also vacillated.
Trump has been ambiguous on mask wearing and on delaying openings Ambiguous is a kind word because he’s been more antagonistic than supportive. He continuously undermined his task forces’ carefully thought out sets of criteria that would establish when states should move to open up more. The consequences of this lack of leadership has been severe, as states, without listening to the task forces’ advice, generally opened up too early, leading to unnecessary cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Trump continues to argue against reason and science by wanting schools open in states where transmission is high. This will end up causing more new cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Overall, I do blame Trump and his lack of leadership for the number of cases and deaths that have occurred, this is THE reason why I am voting against him. He is not competent at his job, and the consequences have been severe. If you think this is unfair, compare the number of COVID deaths we have to other G7 nations. An absolute embarrassment and disgrace. Trump has blood on his hands.

Why didn't his administration check the stockpile at any point in those 3 years.
