It doesn’t seem to be true that Biden didn’t support the travel ban. I know that’s what Trump said, but Trump and the truth don’t always go together.
From fact-check.org: “As we have written, Biden’s campaign said on April 3 that Biden backed Trump’s decision to impose travel restrictions on China.”
“Joe Biden supports travel bans that are guided by medical experts, advocated by public health officials, and backed by a full strategy,” Kate Bedingfield, Biden’s deputy campaign manager, told CNN. “Science supported this ban, therefore he did too.”
Is this revisionist history? I don’t know.
As for the h1n1 situation, I know nothing about that and am too tired right now to research any more. I’ll answer other stuff later.

Fact-check.org is a leftist media outlet which allows liberals to hurl revised history during online debate and completly forget actual events, timelines, along with cause and effect.
Trump put travel bans in place. The band still allowed for the essential travel of people that needed to return to country of origin.
Biden absolutely opposed this early March... I dont need to "fact check" it..
Both Pelosi and Cuomo are venturing around thier districts saying "everything's fine"... as if Trump is an idiot for over reacting.
Trump brought manufacturing companies together and used the war powers act to get 3M and Ford going on the mass production of PPE and ventilators.
He put hospital ships into various ports. Cuomo asked for alot from Trump and got it but instead put COVID patients into nursing home and left hospital ships unused.
Cuomo and Newsom are both on record saying Trump delivered what was asked for in terms of COVID response. It's the MSM and partisan hack politicians on the sidelines ( pelosi, Schumer, biden ) that paint a different picture.

We rank about where we should with Covid - price of freedom.
No POTUS is going to change anything when it comes to that issue. All those governors most people hate in their State - it is at their feet. Federal policy cannot assist State policy when each State has it's own unique challenges.
BTW - your governors are also in control of all of your PPE. Up to them to manage their stock. And I have worked with a few states that have plenty while front line barely has enough.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have been around forever
and what have they accomplished?
They have become multimillionaires trying to end discrimination against Blacks.
The rioting, looting and killing is occurring in cities that have been controlled
by Dems for decades. Also some are run by Black politicians and yet
here we are 50 years later and Blacks are still complaining about police
brutality and racial discrimination.
I don't think much will change with the fact that BLM won't address
the Black on Black crime in Chicago. Nor will they address the
the high illegitimacy rate around Blacks.
BLM is an extortion group just like Jackson and Sharpton playing

From what I read about the Obama response to H1N1, Klain was talking about the administration's difficulties in producing enough of a vaccine fast enough in case things got out of hand. But, the difference between Obama/Biden and Trump is that I believe/hope a Biden administration would adapt to the situation by deferring to experts and not vacillate in its response to the pandemic, things that Trump did not do.

it's not that simple...there is that video clip on 1/31, where he says what he says.
he made those comments on the same day as the china travel ban...the uproar was on both sides and of course if he can get it cleaned up he would try and do that...sometimes shit can't get cleaned up perfectly over the next few months.
there were a few words in that speech (which was right after the travel ban)....among the xenophobe comment....he says "act rationally" this all takes about 40seconds....act rationally about what?
dr fauci was not one who thought the travel ban was necessary at that time (admitted it) - biden said he would follow the doctors...follow the science he says....they were saying it wasn't needed
that was a big deal that day...other news and dem talking heads were blasting trump for doing it(calling him names)...is it far fetched biden was not one of them...remember they are all in lockstep...everyday.
the only thing "act rationally" could be about was the travel ban(trump acted fast)...you say act rationally when you want someone to take their time and think about it
within 30seconds of saying "act rationally" he said no time to be or use hysterical xenophobia....that kinda goes together. maybe we can reconstruct a sentence to use all 4 things including the china virus and china travel ban.

There is no evidence that Biden wouldn't have issued a travel ban. His staff admitted he would. And Trump's record on the travel ban isn't that great either. He was very late with the European travel ban, which is what ended up fucking us anyway.

He claims it was not in reference to the Chinese ban, but in reference to Trump's past history.
Honestly, that sounds revisionist to me, and a bit weak.
Trump's best move was the travel ban from China, I give you that. But that is one part of the issue.

When I look at "factchecker" it only seems to have info where Biden eventually agreed with the ban in April'ish but nothing represents the actual facts that Biden and the Dem party opposed it in Feb/mar time frame.
That's what I call incomplete facts because that is when Biden initially opposed the ban and called it Xenophobic. Pelosi was touring China town saying "everything's fine"...
These facts are lost in "factchecker" because "factchecker" is maintained by leftist tech giants.
These are the same people who silence conservative voices and cancel Twitter accounts if you speak against liberal views.
