I'm not allowed to get a real job or start a real business, because my entire industry is on Forever Lockdown, but she can shamelessly flaunt the rules.
Thanks Cali "leadership", for ruining my life, then punching me in the face to boot. I really appreciate that.

Yes, the largest economy in the country, with actually pretty decent Covid-19 numbers on a per capita basis and our Governor just moved the goal posts making it harder to reopen.

Pelosi is way overrated. The dumb bitch should just retire.

People with businesses ARE rich people.

Average salary of business owner in California is $106,289. California has GAINED people who make about that much money per year. These are the "rich people" who are moving into California, in part.
“Although California has had net out-migration among most demographic groups, it has gained among those with higher incomes ($110,000 per year or more) and higher levels of education (graduate degrees),” the state Legislative Analyst’s Office determined last year."
“the main driver for net out-migration appears to be high housing costs since migration rates are highest for those at lower-wage levels…. The vast majority of people who moved out of California were concentrated in lower-skilled, lower-paying fields.”
NOT the business owners, for the most part.
The wealthy/business owners leaving California in droves is a myth.

"These stories, used successfully by the likes of Pete Wilson and Arnold Schwarzenegger while running for governor, and unsuccessfully by failed candidates from Bill Simon to Meg Whitman and Neel Kashkari, tell of rich Californians seeking greener pastures in more laissez faire states like Texas and Idaho.
There’s only one problem with those stories: They don’t match the facts, even though they are often purveyed by folks with a financial stake in the fables, some of them business relocation experts.
...
Rather, of those who left during the latest years for which statistics exist, the vast majority earned less than $30,000 per year. A net total of 469,000 of those leaving had no college degree. Given the prevailing levels of rents and home prices in California, it’s easy to see their financial motive in leaving for far lower-priced states like Texas, Nevada, Oregon and Arizona.
But as lower-income residents left there was a net increase of 52,700 residents from other states making more than $50,000 per year who do have at least a bachelor’s degree. The figures come from a Beacon Economics study released this spring (http://next10.org/sites/next10.huang.radicaldesigns.org/files/california-migration.pdf).
The upshot is that while it’s true that a few big businesses have shifted their national headquarters out of California primarily because it’s far cheaper for them to expand their facilities in states with lower land prices, most of this state has not suffered much. New businesses arise and succeed here faster and in larger quantities than anywhere except perhaps Israel, also a center of high-tech innovation.
...
The bottom line: Yes, this state has lost some population to other states, but for the most part it has not been the most creative, wealthiest and entrepreneurial Californians who left. Which means that doomsaying politicians and urban “experts” who say the out-migration numbers spell impending disaster are mostly blowing self-serving smoke."

COVID challenges and the fires/power outages have been exceptionally tough on businesses though, and we'll see if this really starts a true, large NET migration out of business and wealthy entrepreneurs.

WTF are you talking about dude....we are making fun of fucking Pelosi being an idiot.
FML!

The % of population in CA that identifies as a person of color has dropped from 7.3 to 5.6%
CA poverty rate is almost 20% of state population.......1/5th
I'll just leave that right there
PS maybe we should just outlaw being poor?

Better idea!
The haves from the coast can hunt the have-nots from inland using low capacity mags.....to give them a sporting chance, of course.
Then those bastards will stop breathing our air and polluting our water.
Plus, we can use the bodies to generate electricity for our Teslas
Its so good to be RICH!

"People with businesses ARE rich people."
The smartest guy in the room doesn't know the difference between having wealth (being rich) and having an income.
$106k subtract Fed & state taxes practically qualifies you for welfare, lol

@PefectCircle: I much rather be questioned and shown to be wrong with facts than attacked using ad hominems that add nothing to the discussion.
