I was a little hasty with my comment about the Hitler nomination. It turns out all sorts of people can nominate anybody they want.
I think in the end, a committee picks the winner. Obama was pretty obviously a ridiculous decision, probably based on what the committee thought he would do. History will show he didn’t really do much of anything about anything.

@Granite - the peace accord between Israel and the UAE is certainly a positive step. However, don't oversell the agreement since it did very little, if anything, to advance peace between the Israelis and Palestinians (I don't consider holding-off on annexing land you currently occupy to be any sort of meaningful concession) and it didn't include the Saudis. It should also be noted that the Israelis and the UAE have been cooperating for years so this isn't the same as the Camp David agreement between the Egyptians and Israelis. Trump has consistently claimed the he is a great negotiator but Bibi clearly out maneuvers the Trump administration every time. What exactly did Bibi offer of consequence? What did the U.S. obtain by moving the embassy to Jerusalem in 2018?
Gotta love the quote by General Mattis, which I am paraphrasing - Trump is not just stupid, he is felony stupid.

@Sherkahn ... you can look up why he won .. just Google Obama Nobel and it has the proclamation. In just 1 year in office they decided -

Now if they had waited for him to have complete a term in office one might give it a pass and say oooook maybe.... but after only a year sorry no he didn't do any of that in his first term. After 8 years we know he was entirely taken advantage of but highly regarded amongst allies and antagosts alike for allowing the US to take it in the shorts even more than usual.
