Regardless of who wins, more misery to come unfortunately.
I find it amazing that plenty of Dem politicians who have been
in power for decades, now want to blame Trump for all the problems
we are now facing.
Many of these issues have been discussed since Biden has been a politician
and apparently he didn't do much.
Now with Biden, they are going to be the savior of the people
when he has been a politician for nearly 48 years.
This continued shutdown, mainly promoted by the Dems, has destroyed
a huge part of the U.S. economy.
Trump never wanted this because he knew a continued shutdown would
create a lot of economic damage. He wanted to reopen after April 12.
The CDC data shows that 80% of the deaths were from those over 65
12% from those 55-64
5% from those 45-54
2% from those 35-44
1% from those under 34
In other words, working people who are least likely to die from the virus
are unemployed and have their businesses destroyed in a attempt to save
the lives of old people. That's a poor decision in my opinion.
I hope Trump wins because if Biden wins we will just get excuses
and indifference to many of these issues, particularly by the media,
that the Dems have not solved in decades.

My two cents. Someone posted a short clip of the Colbert joke video on a religious social media group I am part of.
Sure enough, a few people took the bait and ran. Even after the entire clip was posted and it was shown to be a joke clip the truly bonkers people in the group kept insisting these were good Trump ideas. And how dangerous some people can become when they want to follow fools down the rabbit hole.

Actually, older Republicans are more likely to believe (and share) fake news. See the linked article, and there are actually dozens of articles that support the same point.
We all know that Trump is a habitual liar. He will lie several times a day to pander to his base. I don't think older people believe that a president is capable of lying, so when you have politician that lies all the time (including lying about stupid shit, like his father was born in Germany when he was actually born in NY), they believe everything he says.
Facebook is actively propagating those lies as well, only recently agreeing to take down some (not all) of the false statements that Trump and his camp spews to his electorate.
Beyond believe conspiracy theories more than Democrats, many Republicans are science deniers, don't believe in global warming, feel that all blacks are out to get them, feel that you need to own a gun (and use it) when white supremacy is a much bigger threat than any other group (including BLM and Antifa) as recently determined by the FBI.
And most of the conservatives on this site have demonstrated beliefs in false stories, appear to be quite racist, and continually say crazy shit.

One other thing, the reason why Trump always claims CNN and MSNBC and other moderate and left leaning media is Fake News is to cover the lies (and conspiracy theories) that he is constantly making.
The 1st Amendment right to free speech given not only to the individual, but also for the media, which is meant to be a check politicians.
Trump's claims of Fake News is a page right out of Hitler's playbook, who claimed the same thing to discredit journalists who were reporting on him.
Add to that an electorate that believes anything Trump says as fact, and you have a misinformed and dangerous Republican Party.
