If you go to www.coveredca.com, you will be able to apply for insurance. If your income is below a certain level, it will direct you to Medical for free or almost free insurance.

thank you for the advice on medical, but I haven't been able to get on it since I already have cancer. its hard to get insurance when you have a pre-existing health problems.

"thank you for the advice on medical, but I haven't been able to get on it since I already have cancer. its hard to get insurance when you have a pre-existing health problems."
You can get heatlh care through med-cal or covered California even with a pre-existing condition. See link.
|
|
Covered ca accepts preexisting conditions. Your medical cost for cancer treatment will be astronomical.
Do not limit yourself. If you need treatment and do not have insurance go to the er and get a referral to a specialist. The er and specialist have a flat rate for socal residence with no insurance.
The only difference between private and the county is not quality of care its the amount of time spent.

Come to an agreement with someone, sign "Domestic Partner" papers and get on their insurance and pay the insurance premium. I work in Treatment Industry and see people do it all the time.

Good information...what's publicly available can provide you with much better
results than money being funneled into an account. But , maybe both can help..!

You could read up on Vitamin B-17. and buy a Lb of Apricot seeds from E-bay. Eat Apple seeds and Raw Almonds. The body is deficient of a particular trace mineral.
|
|
You have my support and prayers. Fight hard. I wish you a long and beautiful future of romantic dinners and joyful moments with your family.

@KissMeLucky.... Thats really nice of you. I met you several times in the past. you were genuine then , and the same could be said now.
|

Don't know why but you have 2 threads with the same name going so I fear one of them may be taken down with a lot of important information.
I am so sorry for what you are going through. Please check out the advice of the others. Under Obamacare, pre-existing conditions are covered. Good luck to you & your children.
|
|
You can sign up for Medi-cal (if your income is under $18,200) or get a subsidy towards a health plan through Covered CA. There are no pre-existing condition exclusions for health plans in the United States.
The Covered CA website doesn't even ask you if you have any pre-existing conditions during the application process. They don't ask any health questions.
