Compton is nice this time of year.

I like hiking Torrey Pines park. Amazing view!
There is a large parking lot at sea level, walk along the beach to the park.
There are two routes, a road route and a trail from the beach leading to the top of the park.
I prefer the beach route.

The California Science Center in Balboa Park is fun for nerds, housing a Viking Mars Lander dupe and the actual Space Shuttle Endeavor.
They’ve been closed due to COVID, but with things reopening, check their website for updates.
