19 year old red-eared slider. Got him from a streetcorner vendor at Santee Alley.

He looks like every other red-eared slider.

I see dozens of lizards in my yard over the course of a day, I like having them around because they eat those annoying crickets.

I managed to hatch one Green Iguana years ago after several tries. He turned out to be meaner then shit. Even would attact the females that were three- four times his size.

From what I hear about turtles is cooler temps during incubation of the eggs tend to be females , a couple of degrees warmer end up being males. So I hear...

I only have a long extinct one; no need to feed or care for it and it's a great conversation piece.
How old is your turtle?
Oh mine? about 85 million years old.

AFMadness, as it was explained to me that temp can have an effect on the sex of the turtle or tortoise but it’s only like a 1 or 2 day period that really makes the difference. By keeping the temperature lower for extended periods you run the risk of killing the embryos. It’s best just to let nature decide what sex to make them.
