But consider this, it 's pretty clear that TRUMP supports the KKK/ White supremacy IDEOLOGY. He has a large support base, and many people feel that his supporters align with the same IDEOLOGIES.
If this is true, and if the national the voting polls (43% -Trump; 51%-Biden) represent a cross section of the country as a whole. This suggest that almost half the country might be bigots/ racists (of course this may /may not include the % error) !!! Again , this is not that far fetched when you look at society as a whole. But there are numerous good people is society within all groups.

Let me tell you a story. When I moved from Illinois to Kentucky, I was invited to a house party. On the wall was a huge confederate flag. In front of it was a white dude and a black dude, drinking beer and chatting.
At first, I was confused. How could this black man not be offended? But it was explained to me that to them, it just represented Southern culture and Southern pride. To them, it was not about slavery.

You do realize that Republican members of any Senate committee serve at the pleasure of Mitch McConnell and the Republican leadership, right?
If Mike Lee and others come down with COVID and cannot hold a hearing, then they can simply be replaced by McConnell and vote to confirm ACB.
In fact, there is nothing in the law or Constitution that even requires the holding of a committee hearing at all! McConnell can call a committee vote and push her through without incident, to be approved in the floor of the Senate 51-49. Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

Oh, I forgot! A President who has had COVID, recovered, and now has immunity is far better than a senile and fragile old man who will hide out in the basement and let Socialist Harris run the country...no.thank.you.
