I can't imagine it changed any votes. Most will see the winner through the lens of their views and both did what they needed to. Neither landed any mortal blows or suffered serious wounds.

I agree...the moderator was great...she let them finish a few things...each candidate should have not taken advantage so much and going that extra point when she was already calling it. that is a structure issue of debate....NOT the actual points being made...all in all, they both got to get all their points out

I think Pence could repair some of the damage Trump did with the first debate and push the polls back to the way they were before the first debate. It depends on how many people were listening to this tonight. I think this was the first time that Trump administration policies and positions were expressed well, and this may make a difference for some independents or center-right people who seemed to have broken to Biden after the first debate.

I’m looking at the BBC and Australian news media, and they are leaning towards Harris winning, while Pence gave more standard answers with no solid details.

While factually correct, he is full of shit in terms of the effects of smoking. People die of other causes and get other things before they have the chance to die of a smoking-related illness. Secondly, people can die from smoking-related heart disease, stroke, aortic aneurysm, oropharyngeal cancer, or esophageal cancer before they get lung cancer.
So Mike Pence is one sneaky bastard. He sounds good, as he fills you full of deceit and lies.
I'm sure if I had the time, I could go point by point and refute each one with evidence.
