No this version did not buy their way to a championship. Of course when Miami brought Lebron and Bosh to paly with Wade they were buying a championship. Every team in the league will buy, trade or do almost anything to win. Toronto won it last year buy getting D. Wade. The Clippers tried to buy it by getting Leonard and George and it did not work out this year.
