Is this the part where I tell NR he's an idiot who doesn't know what he thinks he knows and just tells people who do know that they don't actually know what they know to be known?
I do know he's an idiot pretending to know the unknowable.
If I got the wrong part, just let me know
K? Thx

I must say... you must be pushing his buttons....
“Go get Covid and die, GBD.”
That seems quite a bit beyond his normal even keeled blog demeanor.

^You don't know shit about biology and epidemiology based on your ignorant comments. And what makes it worse is that you're arrogant and rude about it. If you did, you'd know that I know what I'm talking about and it's textbook stuff really.

That's for GoBallsDeepAndDieOfCovid

I'm sick of the ignorance of these covidiots. GoBallsDeep is just the most obnoxious of them.

But it’s the internet... this is where trolls come to live forever.

^You're right. I shouldn't take it personally.
It's just hard watching people tell you what you've learned in school is wrong. AND THEY NEVER EVEN STUDIED IT.

"It's just hard watching people tell you what you've learned in school is wrong. AND THEY NEVER EVEN STUDIED IT."
You know nothing about what I've studied, but it's clear that your ongoing arrogance and clear lack of judgement make you a danger to everyone you come in contact with. You are what people call book smart but street stupid, NR.
This virus has you baffled, yet you continue to make pronouncements as if you know something, when in fact, you're simply making a best guess which will be amended as soon as you've discovered you were wrong.
The number of times this has happened to you in the last 6 months are uncountable, it's true.
You just need to stop and realize that you're befuddled and don't know the answers.
That would be best for all.

"you a danger to everyone you come in contact with"
What a joke and evidence you don't know what you think you know.
"This virus has you baffled, yet you continue to make pronouncements as if you know something, when in fact, you're simply making a best guess which will be amended as soon as you've discovered you were wrong."
What I've said is basically verbatim what Anthony Fauci talks about. What Eric Topol talks about. What A Marm Kilpatrick talks about. What Natalie E. Dean talks about. What Trevor Bedford talks about. What Kristian G. Andersen talks about. Textbook stuff about how to deal with an infection. Things really haven't changed much since April in terms of the science of disease transmission.
There are some new wrinkles with COVID-19, but they were figured out early -- much of the transmission is through superspreading. There is a likely aerosol component. It's not very difficult to know that reducing transmission through lockdowns, masks, and social distancing will save lives. Again, textbook knowledge. And the reason why it's not happening is because society doesn't have the will to do it because it will mean a lot of sacrifice, and people aren't willing to do that. And our leaders, mainly Republicans in this, suck. And I was a Republican!
"The number of times this has happened to you in the last 6 months are uncountable, it's true."
Not true. I say the same things now I say then. The only difference is I don't say the infection fatality rate is 1% anymore. It's a little lower.
One big thing we actually did lean by April was how important presymptomatics were to transmission, and this heralded the use of masks.

NR i do think your intelligent but your stats are way off. Everyone here goes on and on and on about how dangerous COVID is but the facts tell a different story.
94% of people over the age of 70 survive. Said another way only 6% die.... 6% of anyone over 70 die that’s it....
99.4% of people under the age of 70 survive. Said another way only .06% of people under 70 die from COVID.
The biggest lockdown in our history for what?
Experts.... your experts predicted 200,000 deaths from this when it started. They said they were inevitable... yet you criticize the president for the job he did when anyone in office could not have done any better. If you think otherwise your lying to yourself.
We are so lucky the swine flu was not more deadly because 60 million (that’s right 60 million) Americans contracted it. There was no outrage, no lockdown but by your own standards there should have been...
Dems are pissed because the president got COVID and a week later was back on the trail and you jerks are pissed because his recovery was too easy? Because he didn’t suffer enough? Because he proved COVID was not as bad as your side made it out to be.
You guys really think Americans are so stupid that they can’t see thru this bullshit. Everyone sees thru this, were just so damn tired talking to you Trump Deranged Idiots we’ve given up.

I like the word “befuddled.”
Per capita death rate. Hmmmm ...
That was wrong, sorry too early.
Not per capita, total annual US death rate.
helps give a little perspective on all the fronts of this
most don't go beyond the 200k deaths...trump fucked America rants
Chinese virus has a 2.8% case fatality rate in America. Too many punk bitches on this site. We just saw a 74 year old, out of shape, overweight with a terrible diet beat the Chinese virus. And another morbidly obese, even after weight loss surgery, beat the Chinese virus as well. Wear masks and a hazmat suit if u want idgaf just dont shut down anything. Be smart. Adapt or perish
I don't know where you got that CDC data from, but...
"The official coronavirus death toll has passed 200,000, but an accounting of all lives that were lost in the United States since mid-March shows that the pandemic and its resulting disruption have caused substantially more deaths: at least 266,000 more people have died than would in a normal year, according to a New York Times analysis of estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."
See link for more.
The Times analysis goes state by state, week by week, and calculates excessive deaths.
Maybe the difference is is your data count doesn't consider lags. "Counting deaths takes time and many states are weeks or months behind in reporting."
"These estimates from the C.D.C. are adjusted based on how mortality data has lagged in previous years. Even with this adjustment, it’s possible they could be an underestimate of the complete death toll if increased mortality is causing states to lag more than they have in the past or if states have changed their reporting systems."
"Chinese virus has a 2.8% case fatality rate in America."
If that were true, 2.8% of 320,000,000 Americans (if 60% gets it (herd immunity)) = 5 million people.
You really want to go this route?
"99.4% of people under the age of 70 survive."
If this were true,
283,000,000 Americans under 70 * 0.6 (proportion that get it (herd immunity)) * 0.006 = 1 million people
Is it really worth it?
All I know is I'm glad you fools don't make decisions in public health.
Trump administration is starting to push the herd immunity idea more and more, according to CNN.
It's dangerous and delusional. That's why we need to vote him out of office.
don't get lost in the weeds
maybe analyze why America is at 2.8% deaths of booked covid cases VS others that are at 1.3%
is it just so simple to say trump fucked it all up? countries share health techniques, medicines...how could that be? any other factors involved?
for credibility...might help to acknowledge some of the potential factors, rather than using the 200k death to bludgeon trump and the corona task force?? or maybe it's just trump?
What is dangerous and delusional is relying on #FakeNews NYT and CNN as your primary sources.
NR, if you have to explain you've already lost.
^If you have to attack FACTS based on what source it came from, you've already lost the argument.
^Not true.
Assuming Trump wins re-election. Do the Dems stop their impeachment, collusion shenanigans?
That answer says it all
