Lot of words for some secure in the election.
Hey, there's a lot to laugh about Trump & his fruitless efforts to win back voters who knows he's a rat! A dirty rat!
Actually Trumps rallies have everybody wearing masks lately. Trump is not running around desperately.
Joe should just hide in the basement. Since the last debate, everytime joe opens his mouth theres a blunder-gaffe that needs to be corrected afterwards or its conveniently overlooked by the media.
Joe is a mess right now... face it
In Atlanta joe introduced himself saying...
"Folks, my name is Joe Biden, and I'm Jill Biden's husband and I'm Kamala's running mate," he quipped during his second campaign stop in Georgia. "Y'all think I'm kidding don't you?"
Yeah joe we know your a Trojan horse for the radical Solialist Left. It's been obvious for a long time... either that or he just fucked up as usual.
Senate and DOJ taking swift action towards section 230 changes and grilling big tech moguls over censorship of conservatives.

No, he is out earning votes, which is what every politician should do.....
hardly desperate, last election he was doing 4 and 5 rallies a day, now only 3
"Actually Trumps rallies have everybody wearing masks lately. Trump is not running around desperately."
Actually, people are forced to wear mask when they are standing behind Trump and in view of the cameras at his rallies. People in the audience in front of Trump are not required to wear masks.
There are consequences for this stupidity. Hospitals in Utah are full and poised to start rationing care, and they're also filling up in Montana, Idaho, and Colorado. Things may get very, very bad before Election Day, which is when most Republicans vote.
If bonehead Trump would have actually cared about his base and the rest of the country, maybe things would look better for him. He doesn't, and it doesn't. He's fucked...and so is the rest of the Republican ticket.
This election will be a colon cleanse for the American political system, flushing Trump/ Republicans down the drain.
Part of the problem is the number of hospital beds in Utah in general.
There are 746,000 licensed hospital beds in the U.S. so we have 1 bed for every 444 people in the U.S..
Utah has only 4640 total beds so one bed for every 690 people.
Idaho has 2455 beds, 1 for every 743 people
Colorado has 8181 beds or 1 for every 714 people.
They already have far fewer beds per capita than the U.S. so anything that skews hospitalizations will overload their system. They would have the same problem with any natural disaster or mass deaths....they didn't have enough beds to begin with.
But journalists and far too many people in our society don't want to do the research to determine the real story. It is just easier to scream that the sky is falling...
Well, they need to build more hospitals in those mountain states since they are well below national numbers.
"Well, they need to build more hospitals in those mountain states since they are well below national numbers."
Agreed. We need more hospitals in general in many states. My friend in Boston has been turned away from getting hospital care because it was too full. And you would think that Boston has a lot of hospitals, but it's the number of hospitals divided by population size that's the key metric. And a lot of places are lacking in that regard.
Actually Massachusetts isn't one of the problem states, although Boston might be a problem.
Massachusetts has 15,192 licensed beds for a nearly 7 million population. They have 1 bed for every 459 people. California is actually at 1 bed for 535, so not a great number either.
But the main problem here is the increase in hospitalizations, which shouldn't be happening in the first place if the virus was under control.
But South Dakota isn't taking the right measures to reduce cases. For example, South Dakota has fewer people wearing masks than many other places.
Actually, I am pretty sure that Utah did take into account maximal bed needs if a natural disaster struck and, if they didn't do this before COVID-19 I gotta believe an assessment was done after mid-March. What was probably not taken into account is the totally incompetent response of the Trump administration and the Republican governors to the COVID pandemic. Little solace to someone who cannot get critical hospital care to hear the Trumpster refrain - shit happens, try not to die.

You sound worked up, maybe you should take some stress off, you know.

@Jazz51
You're right. There is a shortage of hospital beds in the U.S.; the for-profit healthcare system in the U.S. doesn't work well because they run it strictly as a business, which is to have the least number of bed you can to fit current needs. But a pandemic (or other disaster, as you said), pushes the system to the brink of collapse--where people die needlessly.
The point is that Trump should have tried to minimize the spread of the virus. Mandating mask wearing is so easy and inexpensive. Only an idiot or a sadist, who doesn't care about human life, would allow people to gather without mandating mask wearing. His plan, of having no plan, doesn't make any sense.
When Trump was elected, people aware of his incompetence feared that he may be tested as President, and he has been tested. And he clearly failed.
Trump doesn't deserve a second term; he deserves to be prosecuted.

Can you imagine if Hillary had won in 2016 and followed the Trump blueprint on how to deal with COVID-19. The Republicans would have called for a public lynching. Our good buddy, Crane-Op would have posted a counter every day with the number of deaths. We are the greatest, richest, most technically talented country in the fucking world and yet we have one of the highest mortality rates in the world. Enough said. The Asian nations are laughing at us every day. Four more years of Trump and the U.S. may well be one of Trump's shithole countries.
there is always a ton of investment money analyzing hospital beds...they won't be built to fit into the national averages or recommendations...some of the hospitals we have now are under extreme financial pressure as going concerns with lack of surgeries and other services...the covid bonuses(high impact funding deadlines and reported covid cases) have helped them a bit, but not enough to keep it going like this
there is a new requirement of the hospitals to qualify for covid money...that was not required before September 1st...a positive test

"Probably one of the stupidest political arguments right now is "200,000 have died from Corona because of Trump" coupled with "We (Biden/Harris) have a plan to deal with Corona" . We get it at the debates and in the commercials."
Of course Trump isn't responsible for all 200,000 deaths, but he's responsible for a lot of them.
1. On the Incompetence of the Trump administration in dealing with the pandemic, see link. From the New England Journal of Medicine.
2. Biden on day one would use the Defense Production Act to manufacture and distribute millions of COVID testing kits. A antigen-test kit by Abbott (Binaxnow) costs $5, takes 15 minutes to run, and has been shown to uncover more than 90% of people with high viral loads -- the very people (either asymptomatic or symptomatic) who are infectious at the time. Simple mathematical modeling shows that millions of tests per day usage could get the virus under control before a vaccine arrives here next year. And with mask usage and social distancing, we could greatly open the economy up. Open schools up.
@ crane_op
No one thinks that Trump was responsible for all 226,000 deaths over the last few months, but studies show that AT LEAST 130,000 deaths were attributable to Trump's incompetence. As many as 210,000 may have been avoidable according to Columbia University.
Doing practically nothing to safeguard the health and safety of the American people during a global pandemic has consequences. Trump has continually minimized the severity of the virus and continues to claim that "we've rounded the corner."
Yeah, we've rounded the corner right into a mushrooming disaster.

Quat....Utah has had the shortage forever. It didn't happen because of Trump. Some states have more beds than others.
Medical supplies, beds, support is a STATE issue. The Feds are in place as a stop gap, but the primary resources are to be supplied by the state. Not sure why most of you don't understand we are the United STATES.....and Fed powers are enumerated and everything else is the power of the state. You all didn't take Constitutional law or were asleep in Government class.
I love those statements about how many deaths trump is responsible for...there are always two issues with that though
one is you're making the case that Biden would have done better, BUT never tell us how that would have happened
the other is no one ever talks about how the states handled their own crap, such as nursing homes
just read somewhere that the nursing homes represent less than 1 percent of the USA population, but over 40 percent of the covid deaths and not sure all has been reported properly...not the only country that had that issue...but some of that is bad decision making...by who?
Guess what ? The State of California has a mandate to wear masks! However, I see many many people ignoring that mandate. Oh , and we have one of the highest Covid 19 infections. Yeah, telling people to wear a mask is one thing. But getting them to wear a mask is another issue. You can point your fingers all you want. But until they start enforcing the state mandate. Covid19 cases will continue to rise.

Bobulinski....

@insearchforstarfish
Biden already said what he would do. He would follow the scientists and expert recommendations, not find the one quack doctor (Atlas) who recommends doing nothing and allow hurd immunity to occur (which would result in only a few million deaths).
Please, don't play devil's advocate for a dangerous moron like Trump. Beyond the bleach comment, and the hydrochloroquin that Trump touted but didn't even use himself, he also said he wanted to stop hurricanes with nuclear bombs! How can anyone support this moron?
And if you say he was just joking or being sarcastic, then you're also an idiot for believing his feebile attempt at covering his stupidity.
that's all great stuff from Biden, but he would have been late to the party...when did he start taking this thing seriously? track the comments from all the key medical advisors that were around Biden
I saw a tv interview of the doctors in the white house that were talking about the things they were researching (i think in Houston)....talking about bringing the light inside the body to the lungs...not sure if the bleach type stuff was part of that, but most of the shit he says comes from people that around him...it was in the same conversation
not sure I will take the time to find the stuff...I don't see anyone else backing up their stupid ass shit with anything
plenty of doctors in the world that used the very cheap very safe hydro before better drugs options became available...how did they get here?? something warp speed?

Right on, mildly amusing. You heard about the leader of that sex cult who just got 120 years in prison? After Trump loses & the Democrat regains the Senate & we begin to piece back sanity in this country (& the crazies with conspiracy theories will be relegated only to Fox News), historians will look back at Trump & his followers as a cult, plain & simple. And psychologists will have a field day figuring out how so many people could've been taken in by such a stupid, uneducated, ignorant charlatan.
Now you're just making up shit. Biden isn't the president, and Biden had to remind Trump many times that he's the president and it is Trump's responsibility (not his) to make decisions that benefit the health and safety of the American people. Trump also made fun of Biden for wearing a mask.
Biden has repeatedly said he'll follow what the scientists/doctors say to do, like any normal human would typically do. Trump is a sociopath; he has shown no regard for human life.
So when Trump chose to listen to Dr. Atlas over Dr. Fauci, was that a smart move?
Here's a hint: coronavirus infections are the highest now in red states, and you'd think more people in red states listen to what their party's leader and his medical advisor professes. Dr. Atlas should lose his medical license.
@SonOfAdams
That's exactly what I think will happen.
you are right...biden was not the president at the time of all these early decisions being made
we can only go on the things he and his advisors were saying at the same time...in all of those comments, would joe have acted differently?? for the better??
I guess once joe thought this was his winning hand...he went with following the science...so basically he would have followed Fauci?
what am I making up?
It doesnt matter what "joe" would do...
If he's elected he goes into the basement and Kamala takes over.
Down right shocking how the mainstream media and big tech wont cover this story...
Bobulinski is a Navy guy with nuclear level clearance and didnt want to step forward with facts until the Bidens and Schiff accused him of being involved with "Russian disinformation". That's what set him off.
The Bidens are corrupt as all fuck...
Joe and Hunter are in hiding and yet the MSM & big tech keeps covering the shit up.
And the liberal sheep keep saying "baah... baaah"

Downright shocking that those suffering from Biden Derangement Symptoms donāt hear that
Post and Fox News are tearing down the story.
ā Bobulinskiās story emerged last week, after his allegation was first reported by Trump favorite Michael Goodwin in a Post column claiming the āHunter biz partnerā had revealed āJoe Bidenās push to make millions from China.ā The story was touted by the Trump campaign, Fox hosts like Carlson, and the editorial board of Murdochās Wall Street Journal. But it was shot down by reporters at Fox, the Journal, and The New York Times, who reviewed Bobulinskiās documentation and concluded that there was no evidence Joe Biden had been involved with or profited from the deal.ā

After the last debate I noticed the few Biden/Harris signs that did exist in front yards in my neighborhood were removed. Joe is an embarrassment.

Bobulinski....

Republicans are shitting themselves right about now.
Trump isnāt just losing, heās taking down the entire Republican party with him.
Biden up big in Wisconsin today. Probably not a coincidence because COVID is plaguing Wisconsin right now, unfortunately.
A COVID resurgence is hitting battleground states at the same time as the election. Not a good sign for Trump.
Having said that Iād prefer a Trump win to a resurgence.
On the other hand, the violence in Philadelphia is only going to help Trump in Pennsylvania.
Biden up in A+ rated polls in Georgia.
