This is what happens when you colonize Muslim countries for hundreds of years, once these countries get independence you let them move to the imperialist country, but you don't allow the immigrants to assimilate into the population. After 5 or 6 generations of unfair treatment, and on top of that, you outlaw the wearing of religious clothing, you get suicidal martyrs.

I dont think you can look at Muslims or very many groups of people from foreign shores and categorize them as either Dem or Repub.
They have different values based on religion and how they interact with rest of the world. The French colonized a lot of places in the world. From the middle east, Africa, Caribbean, North America, to as far west as south pacific and indonesia.
What's happening with Muslims in France is atypical considering how much of the world the French colonized.
Look at the English who cracked the whip on India for almost 200 years but abruptly left because of a naval mutiny. They got smart and bugged out. The indians are not whacked out extremists and get along ok.
Muslims are spread over a large region and you certainly cant even lump them all into being the same politically.
