If you go back and read my comments.... you will will see that I willingly admit Trump has many... glaring warts....
I have tried to contextualize where I feel there are unfair/inaccurate criticisms of Trump.... what you won’t find is me attacking Joe. I like Joe. I could have voted for Joe in 16... but today... he is losing the plot. He does not have the wherewithal to hold off the AOC, Warren and Sanders wing of the party. Not to mention... it’s probably true Joe won’t last a full term.
When Reagan did it 86-88... it was a different media culture. Tip Oniell, Wright, Foley, Cranston, Byrd, Dole and the gang had no desire to topple Reagan... Nancy kept him in a back room and let him watch cartoons while the legislators ran the country the last two years. They trotted him out when they needed a warm fuzzy grandpa talk.
The world has changed. Joe can’t get away with that. 1. He is not the communicator Reagan was. 2. Kamala WANTS that chair.... now!

@KS, I have a much different perspective of Biden. First, it is premature to make comments on the orientation of his administration (assuming he gets elected) until the cabinet and other key appointments are made. I thought Obama was going to have a cabinet/key advisors with a much more leftist bent but it was relatively moderate. His economic team - Geitner, Rubin, Summers, etc. - were a bunch of Wall Streeters and centrist academics. More importantly, I strongly believe that Biden is a one-termer. Can't imagine him running again when he hits 82. That does make him a lame duck from the beginning but it also allows him to tell the left wing to fuck off without any real consequences to him. Lot's of discussion on how the leftists are going to rule the country with Biden as President but it seems to me just a lot of rhetoric. Biden is a lot shrewder than people give him credit for and it isn't clear at all how the left wing of the Democratic party is going to call the shots. Biden knows that the Democrats hold on power is tied to appealing to moderates, which is why they won so many house seats in 2018 and will probably win the Senate in 2020.
