ever notice that we NEVER get any news when the fires are out?
It's always a few weeks later and I ask my wife if she saw anything on them...always a nope...all fires...even the big ones in Australia last year that killed all the animals.
you would think it would be a great news story...something positive??

Are you kidding....our news sources are totally doom and gloom. There is lots of positive stuff that goes on locally, stat and national, but they almost NEVER cover it.....
The old saying, 'if it bleed, it leads'....
Quite honestly, we are at a nearly total 'yellow' journalism place.

I saw lots of news about fires being out. Of course that's local news, national picks up big stories from one bit to the next. You all have lived long enough to know how the news works.

maybe I'm not looking hard enough over the years...watch ktla morning news...get all the fire news for 90 percent of broadcast...zero news when it's all out

Hopefully, we'll get a 9.5 on the Richter so Sherky will have something to post about.
