Favorite Holiday Dish? Traditional? or Outside the box!

What's yours? I can't choose. I'm just a big foodie....

Do you like to go with HAM, Turkey, prime ribs, Tamales, or something else?

Soooo much to choose from, let's give each other some new ideas.

I'm boring and traditional.

Turkey, ham, pumpkin pie and a nice bottle of red wine.

I'm done!

For Thanksgiving:
Turkey and dressing with gravy is the best!!! My bro makes a dressing with sausage in it...amazing. And a good green bean casserole is nice too.Not much for dessert, but a great pumpkin pie hits the spot.

^^^ That strawberry walnut salad sounds like a great addition too.

Christmas:
I cook a New York Roast, with potatoes, carrots and onions. Real Mashed Potatoes and I let the family bring the sides.
This year I'm thinking a Creme Brulee for dessert.

I have been doing fried turkey for the last 8 years and doubt I’ll ever go back to regular baked turkey. I also do a sweet potato casserole and an amazing cream corn. Both could be desert they are so good.

Christmas pudding and custard. Most people think it’s disgusting but I love it (like Marmite). Roll on December 25th.
I’m European so don’t really celebrate Thanksgiving.

For the last several years I've been making cioppino. Preferably with at least seven kinds of seafood. Last batch I made featured lobster, crab, shrimp and scallops, along with other fish. It was well received

I ordered a fried turkey from Grandma's in Hawthorne CA. This was my first experience eating friend turkey. It was absolutely delicious.

My favorite dish is a tie between macaroni and cheese or potato salad.
