Saving more than collecting. I've been saving my copper pennies since 1976. I found out that in 1982 they switched to zinc, actually in 1982 they made both copper and zinc. I had to go back and separate the copper and zinc. I have about six gallons or close to $1000 in copper pennies. Copper pennies are getting very scarce. I look at videos on YouTube and there are people with millions and millions of coppers pennies. One guy had over $500,000. In copper pennies.
