Just need 12.4 million. Should be able to happen. But, his last election was won by a huge amount. That is a lot of minds to change. And there are just a many sheep in California.

He wasn't my first choice for Gov, but the last recall ended with a moron...Arnold. not a good record.
|

^^What makes feel anything you just posted?? Honest question.

I like to see Newsom out.
I'm mailing in my petition tomorrow.

Zombies you say

Gavin Nuisance is presidential material. He has earned the nation's respect.
|

Arnold was only a moron because after he took one single defeat on an initiative he was promoting, he said, "Fine, the people have spoken." He gave up, went left, and turn into the "global warming" governator, and adopted the Kennedy platform.
But I will still take the governator moron over that corrupt asshole Gray Davis, who sold out the financial future of the state to public employee unions, in exchange for getting elected and achieving personal power.
The last real governor we had in California was George Deukmejian.

Carl DeMaio: Leading the Citizens' Revolt to Take Back California.
On December 7, the California Legislature returns to session and their first order of business will be to consider a slew of tax hikes to fill the hole in the state budget created by Gov. Gavin Newsom's lavish spending and his draconian Covid lockdowns.
My team has been monitoring every single tax hike measure being proposed and we are concerned about three kinds of tax hikes in particular that seem to be getting the most traction:
A Wealth Tax - California would be the first state to impose a draconian tax on your assets, not just your income!
A Tax on Moving Out of State - California would also be the first state to impose a tax on people who flee the state.
Retroactive Tax  - Several proposals include tax hikes that would go back months for the effective date.
Here's what I worry about: California Democrats hold a supermajority in both chambers and therefore can impose tax hikes without a vote of the people! The only good news is we only have to win a few votes to keep the vote tally below the Super-Majority level to block tax hikes!

The complete and utter idiocy of the typical uninformed voters in this state boggles the mind. Democrats have run this state at all levels for years and what do we have to show for it:
Highest gas taxes in the nation supposedly to go to road maintenance yet we have some of the worst roads anywhere.
One of the highest tax rates in the country supposedly for schools yet we rank near the bottom when it comes to quality of schools. (Think LOTS of $100k administrators vs underpaid teachers in the classrooms).
Stupid regulations that make zero sense I am in a business where CA is the ONLY state where we can not sell gallons of certain items.. yet there is no problem if we sell 4 quarts. Of course the 4 quarts cost more so the end user just pays more for nothing. Does nothing for air quality either.
My favorite was when LA decided to exempt certain movie studios from taxes in order to incentivize them to actually film in the state in order to keep business here.. Duh, conservatives have been preaching this for eons for ALL businesses. But no, idiot democrats only see fit to do this for favored business. HELLO!!! if reduced taxes make sense for one industry to remain (and keep people employed and pay taxes, etc, you think this might make sense for other industries???) Idiots!
The problem with democrats in general, and those running CA in particular, is not that we have a shortage of tax revenues it is that the choices they make as to what to spend all of that cash on is simply bad choices. We spent $700k per apartment for homeless people to live in yet they did not even want the units. $700k! We pay literally hundreds of administrators 6 figure salaries to do what, yet they claim to not have enough money to hire teachers.
Wake up people! We do not have a shortage of tax revenue, the idiots running this state make stupid choices as to how they spend that revenue. And those choices, at least in CA, are made by democrats, and idiots in this state continue to vote them into office.
And dont lecture me about leaving the state. Both my wife and I have jobs that force us to remain here for now. We will both be retiring soon and guess what, when we do, the very next day we will leave CA and the taxes we pay we be gone. Just like all of the good tax-generating companies that have left for Texas and elsewhere.
|
|
CA will require a tax for you to leave.
CA has it all together.
California sent about $400 million in fraudulent unemployment benefit payments to state prisoners, a state official said Tuesday, nearly triple the amount disclosed last week and a number that could grow as a criminal investigation continues.
Nine county district attorneys and a federal prosecutor are investigating unemployment fraud involving payments from the California Employment Development Department, which was under intense pressure to quickly process millions of claims as the economic impact from the coronavirus intensified last spring.

The Good news: Gruesome and his staff are worried about the Recall effort.
The Bad news: They need a cool million to get the last 500,000 names.
Good news: If he's recalled you can stick a fork in gruesome's political career.

With or without the recall Hair Gel Hitler should not even run for a 2nd term. But since this is California he will probably win reelection with 75% of the vote.
|

Yes,he will win. And please if you hate it here just move. I did. But I am coming back as soon as the Orang leaves.
|
|
i call bullshit, but whatever you had to tell yourself
Companies affiliated with Gov. Newsom got $3 million in coronavirus relief loans
lots of people/companies got these...such as TB12...not a good look with the people that really need it
a potential billion wasted on the prisoner population was not helpful
|

Doesn't matter. You can leave too.

you can't tell these lefties anything as long as they continue to placate their minions, just like this new AG in LA refusing now to prosecute prostitution (which is fine) among other criminal behavior , you know that's going over well in many places

Our country is fast approaching 300,000 deaths, but you want to recall Newsome cause hes trying to save lives, ok got it...
But his measures are irrational. He is NOT focused on those who actually are dying, he is shutting down OUTDOOR dining, you must wear a mask outside your home, even if you are 100 feet from anyone...LOL. Tourism in CA is already just about dead, but now people coming into CA must quarantine for 14 days...that should pretty much end any tourism.
Less than 1% of all Covid-19 deaths are people under 34, so keeping schools shut down makes all the sense in the world.....97% of all Covid deaths are people over 54. Protect the older folks but shutting everything down will kill the economy.
He can save a few more people and kill the economy for 40 million.

There's a 90% mask compliance throughout the country and China virus is still running wild. It's actually gotten worse since the mask mandates. Masks aren't working. Just look at NY and Cuomo
It looks like Feinstein will get thrown out of her position before Hair Gel Hitler 😂😂🤣😂
Also Fang Fang was on the DNC payroll. Dims are communist appeasers

'but you want to recall Newsome cause hes trying to save lives'
Wow you really are lacking on the common sense scale.
He's trying to save lives? What by going to the most expensive restaurant in the country. Shutting down all the businesses EXCEPT those that got him elected such as hollywood AND allowing HIS OWN business to stay open - because wine is sssoooo essential. Keeping HIS kids school open so they can attend in person while the rest of the states schools are closed and the 'other' kids in the state fall further behind.
Yeah, all that is really keeping people alive. Meanwhile states like Texas are open, and businesses and people from clownifornia are moving here by the droves, AND they're below clownifornia in positive tests. Maybe just below but that should tell you something. Or at least it does to people with any common sense.

The point to make is it has been shown already (e.g. in Brazil) that when you let the virus run rampant, deaths per million go way up. We don’t want that to happen here in California. That is why we have strict rules to reduce transmission. This is a much more dangerous time than in March or June because of the fall/winter conditions. We are doing the right thing. The action is also justified because this is the last time we will need to do this because we will be starting mass vaccination of people. Congress needs to get its act together and help out small businesses that are suffering.
|
|
And yes, Newsom has saved lives. In my book, he is a hero. And I didn't vote for him last time. If we had let the virus run rampant, many more people would have died. Don't forget the modeling that showed 2 million would die in the US if we did nothing.
We need Congress to get its act together to help small business with stimulus spending.
|
|
"Yeah, all that is really keeping people alive. Meanwhile states like Texas are open, and businesses and people from clownifornia are moving here by the droves, AND they're below clownifornia in positive tests."
Again, there are confounding variables. Texas's population density is 109.9 residents per square mile. California's is 253.9 residents per square mile. That and other reasons can account for the difference in the positive tests.

libturd hero disagrees

^Yeah, that was March 3. Fauci said the same thing then. The reason for that was because we wanted to make sure front line health care providers had enough PPE for them. Also, we didn't realize at the time how much COVID-19 spread was due to presymptomatic people with high viral loads in their upper airways.
You conspiracy freaks never learn and keep on repeating your same bullshit criticisms that have already been debunked months ago.
|
|
Masks didn't work then and they sure as shiy don't work now. Dont believe me? Ask the governor of Pennsylvania
|
|
^You're wrong. There is growing evidence that masks work to prevent transmission of COVID-19. See plot.

Recall what a joke. People won't do a few simple temporary, mildly inconvenient things to protect their fellow citizens, and some idiots want to try to pretend facts are not true and attack the messenger--like that ever worked.
So yeah a small number of entitled, whiny selfish brats are yelling recall. Very small.
What did you say about having almost no signatures in the most populated counties? LOL yeah...
In fact Newsom is a hero and good leader. A good leaders does what is right, not what is politically best, convenient, or popular. He listens to science and balances all the factors.
Other states have worse governors and have paid the price.
Most Californians see that. I can't remember if I voted for him last time, but would in the future.
Sure his dining out incident was bad optics and he is not perfect. He apologized and in fact people at that level are likely tested weekly so he knew he was not carrying covid. (to his credit he didn't say that although it was a valid explanation--because then ppl would jump on him for being an elitist getting better testing).
But all 15 people who want a recall, you little bitches shout at each other in your tiny echo chamber and pretend there is a "movement."

And another Truth Bomb FireOf all the positive Covid tests of the 9,000+ students at Cambridge University tested in the week to 6 December, EVERY SINGLE ONE was found to be a False Positive after a second test. That's not conjecture, that's Cambridge's own data.
And NY has been doing terrible since Cuomo wrote his book on how to beat Chinese virus
|

As long as he don’t ban the blue medicine for the ED issues many of you have, he won’t be going anywhere.

Don't see the point of your first paragraph. Doesn't mean that the virus isn't prevalent in society and specifically in schools and universities. "Tens of thousands of new cases continue to emerge on college campuses," according to the NY Times.
"New York has the highest population density of any major city in the United States, with over 27,000 people per square mile." That's why they are having problems again with transmission when people stay indoors because of the cold weather. Can't blame the governor for that.

You're wrong. There is growing evidence that masks work to prevent transmission of COVID-19. See plot.
This plot says NOTHING about Covid cases. It comments on % of people who know someone with Covid-19 symptoms.
Remember, those symptoms would include the same symptoms as the common cold, regular flu, etc. The states of Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, etc. are cold climates with few people. Percentages of knowing someone with Covid symptoms tells me nothing.
Another bullshit statistic people are pulling out of their asses to push a point.
If your chart showed actual Covid-19 positive tests....I might buy it...but this study if fucking stupid.
|
|
^When the information was gathered, incidence of COVID was high and flu season hadn't started yet.
Anyway, if your point is true, it also shows that masks may help prevent the spread of any type of respiratory illness, which is evidence that masks work.
|
|
The virus is smaller than the holes in the mask you wear.
If mask orders and shutdowns didn't stop the spread of COVID last time, why would we do them again?
COVID-19 is serious in the elderly.
So is the flu and pneumonia.
Everything is more serious in the elderly.
This is not a phenomenon exclusively for COVID.
|
|
If 80% of people don't even get symptoms, then the vaccine only basically needs to be distributed to the elderly and people with comorbities and EVERYTHING SHOULD BE COMPLETELY OPEN LIKE USUAL AGAIN.
Anyone saying otherwise is either dumb or trying to manipulate you

Three weeks ago Biden's covid adviser predicted hospital would collapse in 2 to 3 weeks. Its been 3 weeks and I haven't seen any hospital collapse
