Congrats!
Anyone thinking of getting a firearm, all you have to do is Read the pamphlet, take the practice exam, and itβs an easy test to pass. 30/30 a few months ago. Picked up my Glock 17 a few days later. Difficult part is finding a firearm to buy. The really difficult part is finding ammo to buy.

The test was super easy only missed one question and I don't remember reading it in the study guide. I think I want to get a small Ruger but I'm not sure yet haven't shot a gun in a while so I'm thinking about going to the gun range first and see what kind of gun I'd like.

^^ Highly, highly, recommend you go to any shooting range and try out a wide variety of guns. ^^
Berettas, HK, Sig Sauer, Glocks are my favorites. I can't shoot a revolver for sh*t though. Not enough practice I guess.

I'm partial to Glock only because they just work all the time every time even after dumping as much ammo as I have through mine. Just my 2 cents though

Honestly I want to get a few guns I've had a Mossberg 715 before a desert eagle and a regular Glock so maybe I'll just get one of each again π

Allison_snow Good job π I have my permission from Florida , no from here but I enjoy my S&W every time I go .the class I took was a 8 hours one , then the teacher who was a ex police officer face is a beretta with only 2 bullets and I passed ! was very excited and made me feel good , I just renewed my permission I am thinking to buy a new one next year .

crane_op Maybe that want for me but I did it way in 2014 before HX ..when I use to have a warehouse in Rivera beach Florida with my ex and I felt insecure driving through the ghetto every day , on my way back home plus I always had inventory I my car , it make sense , now I just keeping it ,

I want one or more because as a child I was raised around them & was taught properly on how, when, and why to use them & frankly because I can. I can have one or more for my protection and satisfaction.

Hopefully you can find something, gun store shelves are pretty bare right now.
Turners seems to get a few shipments regularly, I think they have some Glock 19s and 26s right now
Another small one that is pretty nice in addition to the LCP is a S&W shield
I picked one up this summer
