Yet Trump is busy golfing and tweeting conspiracies about the election rather than worrying about the deadly virus.

hopefully, they can deliver my fucking tree...sometime after 1pm...we did bump it up a day, JIC this was coming down

@luvblackchicks -
Doesn’t look like he said anything untrue. Trump is golfing & tweeting per usual 🤷🏾♂️

“ Yet Trump is busy golfing and tweeting conspiracies about the election rather than worrying about the deadly virus.”
I love that even after the election, Trump is still chapping Corndog’s ass. Trump paved the way to get you a vaccine in record time.
You might not like the optics of his golf outings... but I am sure of two things:
1. It has zero impact on the solution for COVID.
2. He takes great pleasure knowing it upsets you.
So bitch and moan all you like... it only brings him joy.
The thought of him having to pull a diaper over his obese ass with those tiny bitch hands gives me joy so it’s a fair trade 🤷🏾♂️
So...you are just like the guy you hate.
It’s funny to me that people say they don’t like a person because of the way they act.... then they act just like them.

Fuck Newsom.
Newsom and the Director of Health for LA County need my 1 iron right in the chops..repeatedly

Good article from the LA Times that explains why the overall shutdown is occurring, gives a reason for the outrage, and gives feedback by experts on why the closures are what they are.

So this is going to happen every year, how many times a year and then whenever a new virus shows up?! Gloom and Doom Fauci already stated the vaccine may have to be taken every year like a flu shot, they don't know how long the immunity lasts after you get the vaccine and it's still only 94.1% effective..so 5.9% of the population is still going to get sick and fill up ICUs after the vaccination, that's still over 2 mil in this state alone unless my math is wrong from too many morning martinis.
Why not do everything possible to keep Southern California's restaurants and other small businesses open, and to get our children back in school?
If ICU capacity is too low, why not increase it? Could the Navy hospital ship be brought back? Could Army field hospitals be used?
Why not target lockdowns to the high-density areas where the virus is primarily spreading, rather than locking down the entire region? Why should Malibu be shut down because of increasing cases in Pacoima?
@Kaisersauce rimming me as usual. You truly are a misinformed fool.
all part of the stupid agenda.

sounds about right

Gotta love these assholes saying DONT TRAVEL FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!
Then turn around and travel themselves.
And we should be SHOCKED that a critical mass of mouth breathers dont give a shit about this anymore?

5.9% of the population is still going to get sick and fill up ICUs after the vaccination,
Your reasoning is totally fucked up. If the vaccine is 95% effective, that leaves 5% of the population who MAY get the virus (they don't have the immunities afforded by the vaccine). We have cumulatively 1.3 million positive 'cases' since the beginning in March (9 months ago), which is 3% of our population. So if 3% of the unvaccinated people become positive cases that would be 0.15% of our population or about 600,000 potentially over the next 9 months. But with the vaccinated people not being 'spreader', the infection rate would logically drop as a function of the numbers who are actually vaccinated.
So the potential of filling all the ICUs with the 5% ineffective people is impossible.

Riverside, San bernardino, and Orange county will not enforce this order. Riverside sheriff said he will not be blackmailed.

Newsom and Garcetti need to be recalled ASAP

u blame Trump when , with covid unlees you have pre existing conditions or are over the age of 70 you have a 99.9993% chance of survival.
yet we still need a vaccine???
and the communist of california demand a lockdown in your state????

Hey Horndog,
What exactly would you like Trump to do about the worldwide pandemic virus? As if a US President can give a speech, wave a wand, and make it go away.
What he CAN do, and already has done is removed the red tape for creating a vaccine, preordered tens of millions of doses into production months ago, and streamlined the regulatory processes for approval and immediate distribution.
What would you like Uncle Joe to do about it? Give a mumbling speech about wearing a face mask while he looks like a complete moron while wearing two masks at once?
The TDS runs deep with you.
Trump could have been truthful with the how deadly covid can actually be from the beginning since he already knew about it from the jump. He knew it from the beginning and decided to treat people like a children, like if people couldn't handle serious warnings about this sort of thing.
Maybe having a uniform approach to containment for everyone to follow instead of having a patchwork or rules or procedures from state to state.
He checked out and didn't want any part of the hard work that came with containment of the virus and trying to not overload the hospital system and left it to governers. But then wanted all the credit for the reopening.
You know damn well if he had endorsed mask, temporary shut downs and told you from the jump how deadly it can from the beginning there wouldn't be a peep from Magasexuals bitching about mask or how its a hoax. All you red hat wearing sheep would have fallen in line and believe in all the yarn this con artist spins.

assman4ever
what do you think our mayor and our governor should do in order to slow down the spread of this pandemic. Are you one of those non-believers?
Trump says he downplayed the pandemic because he didn’t want to cause a panic. Pure bullshit. The same motherfucker had people thinking that caravans full of unarmed broke ass refugees were coming to end us. Or destroy suburbs or some shit. Panicking people is his goddamn bread and butter. He just wanted to quite the markets and lessen the hit to the hospitality industry where he makes his money. In either case he failed to lead, which is unsurprising really.
^^stop being a bitch. This virus has over a 99% survival rate for everyone under 70 that isn't a fat slob. So you must be fat. If you're over 70 its 95% survival rate. If masks worked then newsom, Feinstein, Pelosi, ciomo, etc would not be getting caught breaking their own covid rules. Go for a jog and shut the fuck up
If you’re going to pretend you can tell me what to do I guess I’ll do the same. Suck my nuts you conspiracy believing sycophant.
"what do you think our mayor and our governor should do in order to slow down the spread of this pandemic."
I expect stupid cunt Nuisance to use science instead of just making shit up to pretend like he's doing something effective.
Since the little bitch KNEW that it would get worse, why didn't he add more capacity instead of breaking his own rules to dine out with lobbyists at a restaurant where the cost of a meal could feed a family in LA for a week.
If Trump had done this, you fucking spineless little cunts would be having a cow about it.
Nuisance should be getting his anus turned into a smoking crater at San Quentin, by now.

I got a dead best friend from high school, dead accountant and dead martial arts instructor, so your math is based on bullshit, PA.

Lock down going into effect Sunday night.
You want this order
You love this order
You NEED this order
Shit is getting Gloomy!
Your dead peeps notwithstanding, it's bullshit and not based on any known science.
"According to the Los Angeles County contact tracing data, out of 219 businesses confirmed to be connected with three or more cases of COVID-19, only 6% has been linked back to restaurants, bars, and cafes."
Nuisance is a greazy cunt
Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course

Sherkunt seems like the common denominator in all yhose deaths was you. You're a superspreader

As of today, 45,395,734 people around the world have contracted COVID-19 and recovered from it.
The U.S. has 4% of the world's population yet 19% of its COVID cases. Why? Because the rest of the world doesn't have stupid, anti-science, conspiracy believing Republicans. That's why.
DUMB FUCKS

It's true that from cases we know, restaurants have been linked to only a small amount of coronavirus outbreaks in non-residential settings; however, the problem is the data on this is quite limited:
"Public Health Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer admitted the county often can't say where individuals contracted COVID-19."
"'I wish we could answer this question. I think people would feel better if we could say with certainty where people got infected, but we just can't,' Ferrer said during a Monday press briefing."
So, again it's a problem of there not being enough information. So I think they are basing their closing of restaurants on close exposure of people from different households not wearing masks because they are eating, which is not the safest activity when transmission is high in the community, even though, again, the data on this is limited.
Outdoor dining with people from different households crammed into tents and not wearing masks doesn't seem very safe either when transmission is high.

there could be many many many reasons for those stats...maybe think of some of them
with our collective minds on this site...let's see if we can hit at least 5 reasons...maybe more

Schubert,
When Arnold was governor he spent several hundred million in creating a state medical stockpile that included 3 portable hospitals with 200 beds each, a number of ventilators, other hospital equipment and supplies.
The annual cost to maintain this equipment was $5.9 million per year. When Jerry Brown became governor he decided he did not want to spend the $5.9 million so he gave away most of the equipment and what was left of the equipment was not maintained. Which is part of the reason Newsom was sending out ventilators to be restored to working order. Jerry felt that $5.9 million was better spent on a train to nowhere.
Barbara ferrer looks like she has AIDS. I wouldn't seek her opinion on anything health related. She looks terrible
ya jerry brown needed to fund that train to central calif

@ Jazz51, you're assuming that everyone in the U.S. will be taking the vaccine when it comes out.
I know quite a few people that have said they won't.
When you consider that it takes a minimum 9 years, on average, for a new vaccine to get to the Regulatory review and approval stage, the last stage before mass production and that usually takes 1-2 years, I understand the trepidation. This vaccine has taken less then 9 months.
I'll probably pass on it, there's just too many unanswered questions about it's long term effects.

^The vaccines were not really rushed through. That is misinformation. They successfully went through the standard 3 phases of clinical trials and used tens of thousands of people in both a placebo arm and a treatment arm. A reason why they didn't need the standard 5+ years to completion was because most of the technology that went into these vaccines (the mRNA and adenovirus technology) were developed beforehand. They literally had to "cut and paste" information about the virus that causes COVID-19 into what they developed previously. Now it's true that we don't know the long term effects of the vaccines, which, I should say, is standard for any medicine that just went through a randomized clinical trial, but I'd rather take my chances with a vaccine that essentially is either the coding sequence of the Spike proteins of the virus (and not the whole virus) or the coding sequence of the Spike proteins inside what are known to be (for a long time) harmless adenoviruses than getting infected with the COVID-19 virus, which is known to be harmful and known to cause long-term harm in the brain, kidneys, lungs, and hearts of human beings.
