extend UI benefits. However, if not, then the will be one next year.

There may indeed be a stay at home order BUT who is going to enforce it ? sit down dine in restaurants will close as will beauty salons and other businesses but I think we will see many businesses stay open until someone with real authority comes by and tells them to shut it down, Many police agencies have already said they won't enforce it. I know there will be plenty of Karen's and mask police telling people to shut it down and wear a mask but as a provider are you going to shut it down...or as a hobbyist are you going to not see a provider...I just wish the golf courses and driving ranges would stay open because I was swinging the club so well lately

I was down for the first lockdown, meh for the second one, but this new one is bullshit.
ZERO support this time. I don't see anyone actually doing this shit this time around, penalty or not. You're already seeing the sheriff's dept not supporting this. This doesn't affect me at all but ppl I know that are affected can't afford to take the hits anymore.
There's so much that is eff'ed with the system. Tell ppl to wear masks but 'merica and my rights so that's not going to work. Stop ppl working but offer no way to support them financially so that's not going to work. The working poors complaining about socialism but blind to see the usual corporate handouts while the rich just say 'yeah uhuh socialsim sucks while they count their bennies and take family trips during lockdown'
Why not have the government tell people that if they want to live their best life and liberties then enjoy living on those paycheck to paycheck jobs and don't complain when they die in the gutter? Why not have cororations tell people to actively live to make money and eschew personal happiness, that dignity is something that slows you down, and commoditize everything about yourself? It's actually happening too. How many of the more tech saavy girls and guys just took that route with social media outlets? How many cottage industries sprouted out because of the need to change?
I like seeing how DJI is still propped up by a literal handful of tech companies right now while the other physical entities are still floundering. That's actually a good example how huge the disconnect with reality actually is. All of the usual stuff is going away because of a stupid virus.... lol
Any of you been by the park in Venice lately? A lot of those ppl used to live in the apartments in that area now live in stinky-ass tents. How about the people with Uber and Lyft stickers living out of their cars? They were doing good but not good enough to live there, just survive. And a lot of ppl are surviving right now.
It's weird, it's like there's a problem but no one cares nor have they ever cared, as long as those that 'got mine' are alright despite the situation because the rest of the country is stupid and proud to accept reality. But then I'm not sure what to think either. I guess the people right now struggling have dreams, but no will to feed their ambitions. Or maybe it's genuine bad luck because of a pandemic...
All I can say is that let this be a lesson in reality and the need to change yourself to never be brought down to a compromising situation again, you know the kind; one where you are waiting from handouts from the fed or some one or some thing that is not you.
IDK what I'm saying anymore, I'm up because I am buying options, looking at my portfolio, and planning my day.
Anyway good luck OP, your unfortunate situation has allowed the rest of us better-offs and well-to-do's to enjoy your bountiful assets. But also make sure take advantage of your assets also and don't let them expire.

I don’t like the lockdowns, but unfortunately that and mask wearing and social distancing is all we have in our arsenal right now to prevent ICU’s from filling up beyond capacity. The problem is that the government has failed to help people who feel the economic hardship from these lockdowns. The safety net hasn’t been there for enough people. It’s very tragic and sad. Definitely for some people, the lockdowns are worse than the virus. I understand why people are tired of these lockdowns. I hear you. I’m sorry.
