There's no Civil War going on. What you are calling for is a suspension of the rule of law without any evidence to back up why.

SCOTUS knows that, no matter that they do, half the country will think the election was stolen. So why not use the Constitutional roadmap to resolve the controversy? That is what the TexasLawSuit proposes.
The Constitution lays out how federal elections are held and who selects the electors for the Electoral College.
For many years Democratic states have incrementally ignored what the Constitution says about how elections for federal office are to be conducted. Finally, this year these Democratic states went for it & completely ditched the Constitutional model for federal elections.
You had governors & state courts cutting the legislatures out of the loop as they rewrote federal election laws & deadlines on their own. At the time they were doing these changes to federal election procedures & changing the deadlines, the state officials **explicitly admitted** they were deliberately freezing out their states' legislatures. They weren't coy about it. They came right out and said it.

Trump should suspend habeas corpus. There is precedent for holding citizens without charges. The Military could arrest and detain individuals who are deemed threatening to military operations or free and fair elections. He can and he must!!

Wow...it's strange how quickly conservatives forget that whole state's rights mantra the second it works against them.
First of all it isnt half this country. Trump's cult at best is 40% of this country and more likely sits around about 33-35%
When Gore lost by less than 400 votes after a mandatory machine recount...you guys demanded no hand recount and called everyone else sore losers. Even though there were 170,000 outstanding votes to be recounted because the machines could not count them. When Gore tried to recount by hand 2 counties, you guys successfully blocked the hand recount not even allowing one recount of all the votes. If Gore would have moved on and done a statewide recount he would have won by less than 200 votes*. But for "the good of the country" and not knowing the outcome...he conceded.
Now when you guys are down in multiple states, by 10's of thousands to hundreds of thousands, have had multiple recounts in multiple states...you demand we cancel the election, deny the results, and do whatever is most favorable to Trump because anything else would be unfair. You dont even have any evidence that any court in the country has accepted. You have yet to win a single court battle. Not one. So because you lost after all the votes were counted. THen lost again after they were recounted. Then lost again after they were recounted again. and none of them were close.... Then lost suing state courts. THen lost in federal courts. THen tried to get state legislators to replace all their electors and that failed. Now you have some Texas AG seeking a Trump pardon carrying his water with this ridiculous..."what that state did to conduct its election isnt fair" argument...and knowing the SCOTUS will summarily dismiss it...its time to cancel everything and just declare Trump the winner

Pennsylvania changed to mail in voting without changing the state constitution. That's 1. But even so, I doubt the Supreme Court is going to disenfranchise voters who thought that they were voting legally.
