HX is a social media site too!!!

True, but I dont see HX web apps that track you on every major site across the network. I run ad and script blockers so no big deal to me, but, the Admin at HX are not the robot Mark Suckerburg by a long shot.
Never been on FB, or any other FB products and I never will.

It’d be a sad and scary society when groups of people only want to hear and get info that they agree with. That’s why HX is such a cool place. You get rational and nutso people on both sides spewing their sh-t whether it’d be well supported by evidence or it’d be just supported by raging passion. You may not agree but it’s useful to know those extreme school of thoughts are out there.
I also like the 50 comment blog limit because some people will perseverate over and over emotionally/compulsively over some issue and the 50 comment lock help to cool some heated blogs down.

If your running script blockers, you can see what is trying to run.
Why does FB scripts need to run on non FB sites? such as some financial sites and some other e commerce sites. Fucking shady shit and I never let that shit run.
And I cant tell you how many google scripts are on EVERYTHING.
And if you block them it breaks the site your trying to use.
I remember a time when the network wasnt controlled by 6 companies and it was a much better place.
HX is a throwback to those times.

SSL,
The first time I was on the Donald on Reddit, I teach them that the Spanish flu didn't originate in Spain. I was banned. But banning is so yesterday. They need something more awesome.
The next day I donated $5 to the data scientist at Florida on gofundme with my full name, a masked man knocked on my door. It will remain a mystery as I don't want to know who he is.
