Too many conference calls

Sigh, the whole remote work from home has basically killed my past ability to have "going offsite for a work meeting" where I could visit a beautiful lady on the way back while I was legitimately out when the project was done. Now with tech I can meet with anyone without regard to travel time. But I seem to be bouncing back to back zoom/conference calls all the day now with little break time. Not very fond of this, particularly causing shoulder/neck issues. I'm particularly concerned the cost savings that has resulted this year from travel to local cities or even out of state within same time zone will basically decrease the type of allowable travel expenditures companies are willing to cover in the next few years so there may not be a return to off site work meetings unless there is a physical object you need to touch or something.

These are the excuses I use:
1. I'm doing my biweekly run to costco for supplies (during 'off' hours)
2. I've been coughing, and going for a test
3. Internet is down (believable if you have Cox)
4. The housekeepers are here, so I need to leave for a couple hours

And with Biden as POTUS, more misery to come.
But with Gascon not prosecuting "social" workers, maybe
prices will drop. LOL
