This is not going to go anywhere. If not for Newsom's leadership, hospitals would have been inundated a long time ago.
I heard that they are halfway to their goal. This might succeed.
Print it out, collect a few signatures, and send it in!

@Night-Rider
Maybe if it weren't for you breathing, drooling, and slobbing all over multiple people, hospitals wouldn't be overwhelmed.
^That graphic is offensive.

NR - pretty sure his handling of the pandemic is only a portion of the reason why people are looking to boot him.
And whether are not it would have been worse off if he handled it differently, you know people won't care. They lost their jobs. Their businesses. Nobody is going to listen to anyone who says he made it a lot better than it would have been. People are not in it for the greater good. They are in it for themselves.

Preposterous. My activity, done at a time when transmission was low, did essentially nothing to increase transmission. Transmission increases when people don't wear masks and congregate in groups.

'This is not going to go anywhere.'
Keep telling yourself that. The attempt has gotten newsome and his team worried that it'll succeed. They're even worried that people who voted for him have had enough and will sign on to the recall effort.

he personally said trump was doing a good job on the virus btw...think there are a couple sound bites

@Night-Rider
You admitted that you didn't wear masks when we you went to see seven different women from this site in October and November. (And that's just from this site.)
If the problem is "congregating in groups", then why do legitimate massage therapists need to be threatened with arrest and loss of license, while you go humping and slobbering all over town?

Because transmission isn't low anymore. I visit women when the risk of transmission was low. Personal care places were OPEN when I did what I did.
Now, with transmission being high, I'm not visiting women anymore, and massage parlors should be closed.
*unless massage parlors could account for aerosol transmission.
The DYNAMICS of transmission are mostly dictated by superspreader events, which usually includes congregation in groups.
But the disease can be spread often as well in one-on-one situations, especially when the population is full of cases. One-on-one encounters aren't low risk anymore at this time due to high number of cases.
Thus, I'm not visiting women anymore for my safety. And massage parlors should probably be closed.
I take that back. It's probably ok to have massage parlors open now if you see one client at a time at a particular place, wear masks, and keep the windows open or install box fans with filters that can remove aerosols (cheap to do).
I would think that's probably ok.
The risk of bumping into someone with COVID is 1/45, which is the estimated proportion of people that have COVID right now in the OC.
So maybe California is getting it wrong with massage therapists, as long as they are ok with allowing only one client at a time to occupy the premises, and use box fans with filters to reduce aerosols.
I recommend a few of the MERV 13 air filters with box fans. (See link).

@Night-Rider
Oh, NOW you finally admit that I'm right, after you already spent so much time bashing, berating, and condescending to me?
Well, too late. People like you already took my job interviews away from me, and kept me under threat of arrest and loss of license for several months, until I finally moved to another state, and now have to deal with the complications of getting my license transferred, while I am still trapped in HELL, because of hypocrites like you.
Your damage has already been done.
@Night-Rider
Also what YOU think is OK or not doesn't matter here in Arizona. The legitimate massage industry is OPEN, has been open, and is staying open, and no there aren't any edicts about windows or box fans.
Why are you even preaching about masks? You weren't wearing a mask when you were breathing, sweating, and slobbing on people, were you? "Wait two weeks", remember?
How about a box fan? Did you have one of those?
You're nothing but a hypocrite and a fraud. You ruin people's lives while you get your dick off. You're a fucking piece of shit.
You have to understand that we learn new things about the virus all the time, and information gets updated. We closing everything down in March and April to err on the side of caution.
Understand my middle finger, you hypocritical piece of shit who ruins people's lives while you go out to get your dick off. Fuck you.
"Why are you even preaching about masks? You weren't wearing a mask when you were breathing, sweating, and slobbing on people, were you? "Wait two weeks", remember?"
I've worn a mask everywhere I go except the 7 times I saw someone on here. Again, this was in September and October when new cases were very low and the risk of transmission was low.
@KatEscapingLA
You are bitter and irrational.
@Night-Rider
"WAIT TWO WEEKS", remember?
But you blame restaurants and legitimate massage establishments, instead of the multitudes of people like yourself who are heavily breathing and slobbing on each other.
And now we all have to suffer, because of you. Now *legitimate* businesses supposedly have to be shut down, because of heathens like you.
I don't know what you mean by "wait two weeks." You mean quarantine after I see someone? You only need to quaratine after a positive exposure.
In times of high transmission, indoor restaurants being open with multiple people removing masks and the possibility of indoor transmission isn't a good idea.
@Night-Rider
The most disgusting part of it all is that you think YOU are so much smarter, better, more scientific, and above all, morally superior to me. Go to hell.
"The most disgusting part of it all is that you think YOU are so much smarter, better, more scientific, and above all, morally superior to me. Go to hell."
I think no such thing. I may know more about COVID than you, because that's in part what I study, but that doesn't mean anything else. I am definitely not smarter, better, or morally superior to you.
I am sorry you lost your massage therapist job here. That shouldn't have happened.
@Night-Rider
I lost my job *interviews*. And no way to start my own practice while I'm under threat of arrest and loss of newly obtained license.
Oh, it shouldn't have happened? But you said it NEEDED to happen. You said it over and over again, while bashing me over the head with your condescending, "covisplaining" bullshit.
First of all, you're putting words in my. mouth. I never said "wait two weeks" for anything. Secondly, things are different during a stay at home lockdown where we closed businesses and in September and October, when I saw women. And finally, one-on-one encounters do minimal to increase transmission. The dynamics of COVID-19 spread are determined mostly by group events.
@Night-Rider
"I may know more about COVID than you, because that's in part what I study"
Oh really? Then why do you think legitimate massage therapy spreads covid more than you having your tongue all over a dozen different people? (Maybe even in their mouths?) Now, multiply that by all the thousands of other people doing the same thing.
So, which industry do you think is spreading more covid?
Yeah, you're a real fuckin' genius.
@Night-Rider
"And finally, one-on-one encounters do minimal to increase transmission."
That's not what you said when you were shaking your fist at me and insisting that the legitimate massage industry must be shut down.
That's just your excuse now that you've been exposed as a massive hypocrite and a fraud.
^Again. Not true. We have learned more about COVID now since I last spoke with you.
Never said legitimate massage transmits more COVID than meeting up with women.
Well, I was wrong. I think the industry should have stayed open but regulated for safety during these times.
Again, I never said suck it up buttercup.
I thought you had a job pulling pud. Excuse me.
Again, I thought differently about how much your job spreads COVID compared to what I do now.
@Night-Rider
"Well, I was wrong."
Well, too late. You--and people like you--already put me through hell. You destroyed my life (for now), and countless other lives. Fuck you.
You have to understand that we didn't know enough about COVID back in April, so we erred on the side of closing businesses to keep ICU numbers down.
@Night-Rider
Yeah, you "think differently" now that you've been called out as a hypocrite and a fraud.
Maybe you should have thought differently before you destroyed people's lives.
1. My thinking differently has nothing to do with you calling me a hypocrite or fraud.
2. I didn't destroy anyone's life.
@Night-Rider
You're destroying lives by supporting the Lockdown Nazi agenda to shut down businesses and entire industries.
While you stay here on HX.
I agree that a lot of businesses needed to close in March and need to close now due to the ICU situation. I agree with that agenda for the most part.
I'm not happy about it though.
Also all that bullshit you said to me before was 2 1/2 months ago, not at the beginning, just in case you forgot.
Well, I've learned since then.
Well, just as long as you and the thousands of others like you get to keep humping and slobbing all over town, bringing transmission back up every time it goes down, then I guess it's all OK. Fuck everybody else who has to suffer because of your behavior, right?
I do think that massage therapy needs to be regulated for safety though. Can't have multiple therapists seeing multiple people at the same time in the same place. Too risky for transmission. Have to cut it down to one therapist seeing one person at a time. Wear masks and MERV filters with box fans should work.
