Covid-19 update 12-21-2020
Florida population 2020: 21,993,000
Covid 19 infections: 1,112, 581 (5.5 pct of population)
Covid 19 deaths: 20,681 (1.7 pct of infections)
California population 2020: 39,937,500
Covid 19 infections: 1,286,557 (3.2 pct of population)
Covid 19 deaths: 19,437 (1.5 pct of infections)
Florida opened their businesses and 1.7 pct of their infected population died from infections.
California closed their businesses and 1.5 pct of their infected population died from infections.
I’ll try to find some stats on the increased suicide rate and people too scared to seek health care in California and see if it offsets the difference between Covid deaths in Florida vs California.
FYI, I am kinda stuck in California right now but I lived in FLA there long enough to know that FLA takes personal responsibility a lot more seriously than Cali’s nanny government.
We just rip off a chaw in FLA and say, “Stay the fuck 6 feet away from me and we be fine. Put dat der cover on yer face dammit or ya’ll be axed to leave in a unfriendly way.”
