Why do you think the two parties would rather you focus you attention and energy on hating those fellow citizens who don't agree with you rather than holding the parties accountable?
Also big money foreign aid is just an extension of foreign policy. Meaning there's a reason for it. It's not necessarily simply an act of goodwill.
I think in Egypt's case it is largely to keep Egypt onside with the US, and I believe a huge chunk of it is military aid to support Egypt turning around and buying US weapons. It's basically taking money from the taxpayer pocket and putting into the pockets of defense contractors. Lockheed Martin has historically been the company that benefits most from US military aid to Egypt.

Did you complain about the 2017 tax bill in which amendments were being put in as the voting was going on and members had about one day to read and digest a massive and complex bill? Doubt it since you benefitted. Congressional staff has been working on the stimulus or relief bill for months and briefing members to they pretty much know all the key elements of the bill.
We give aid to foreign countries because we are a fucking global power. We do it for influence and access not because we are so fucking altruistic. You think big corporations make charitable donations because they are nice guys?

By the way, the Senator who did the most to rein in Congressional largesse - William Proximre - was a liberal Democratic. Look him up and you might learn something beyond the right wing trash you feast on.

Historically, Egypt gets no cash from the U.S., just credit to buy American-made defense goods (like planes and tanks) to maintain a power balance and to counteract Russian influence in the Middle East.
It’s like giving money to the poor/middle class is actually propping up the economy because those groups have to spend their money right away on rent, food, clothes, and other necessities. That’s why it’s called a stimulus package.

The money is a payback by our politicians! Most of them have one or more Hunter Bidens, lining their pockets in every foreign country on earth -- then the politicians repay the money ten fold with taxpayer funded payoffs like this!
