^This is not the budget. This is a bill which the President could have taken a more active role in shaping. He had his Secretary of the Treasury involved, but he could have been personally involved to get higher stimulus to people. But he chose not to. And instead is considering a veto. Strange.

The problem here is Trump never gave them a number to work with before hand. He was too busy worried about his handicap number on the links. The only thing the White House demanded was in the package was the ability for corporations to write off 100% of lunch instead of 50%. The "three martini lunch". That was his priority going into negotiations.
In other Trump scandals, he still wont name Russia as the hacker who attacked our federal agencies and private companies with a major cyber attack. No comments except to say...maybe it was China. Despite everyone knowing it was Russia. Even his own Secretary of State said it.
He also just pardoned a whole slew of people in the Russia coverup. (He was impeached for the coverup because they refused to answer questions or testify) A republican lawmaker as well who committed a dozen felonies because apparently 64 is too old to be in prison when you commit white collar crimes.
Meanwhile they quietly instructed staff on exiting the White House despite them still denying they lost and asking for more of your money to go into Trump's slush fund to fight it. And speaking of "fighting it". It is well past fighting it. Trump personally pressured over 150 Republican lawmakers to perform a coup. What's the over/under on the Democrats letting all this go because we "need to heal".

He should veto it. The bill was negotiated by 4 people, they would give a preview of what's in the bill and they wouldn't allow any other members of congress to adjust the bill.
The bill is over 5500 pages and they want con-gress to vote on it without giving them time to see what's in the bill much less understanding what the bill does.
