why the long face?

Or you could die of Covid. Bad side effect.

Only injections I will ever continue to do are my lips. I have never believed in vaccines and or modern medicine because I feel like they're in place to hurt us and not help us. I wanted to get Botox and fillers in my face for my wrinkles but I did my research and honestly I don't want that crap in my face oh, I'll just deal with my wrinkles đ

Perfect Circle just because I don't believe in vaccinating myself doesn't mean that I don't believe in medicine. Of course vaccines have cured a bunch of diseases and whatnot but they've also destroyed a lot of people's lives. There's no need to make fun of what people believe in as far as medicine goes it's my body and I can do with it as I please.

"But yeah go burn some sage to keep the evil spirits away or a sound bath or some essential oils or some crystals". I don't burn Sage, use crystals, or the essential oils for any of that stuff but if that's what I wanted to do It's my prerogative.

Allison - you literally said âI donât believe in modern medicineâ in your comment above. You also stated that many peopleâs lives have been destroyed by vaccines. That is utter bullshit.

VIRUSES CAN EDIT YOUR DNA. (Man, I already wanted to put that in bold)
Just think if you could list all the "side effects" of viruses. I mean we're talking some evil deep state shit: Weakening your immune system, changing how you think, permanently editing your DNA, causing cancer, laying dormant inside cells, modifying how your immune system works, destroying organ functions, altering organ functions. If you list everything well studied viruses can do to various sub populations of peoples...it's a list that makes most modern medicine side effects a quick read.
Just think if Ebola actually went rampant (as unlikely as it would have) back in 2014. Tetanus? Oh no, don't gimme that shit. I can handle Tetanus. How about Rabies. Fuck that, I can handle a 100% lethal virus, no vaccine for me. I want to a slow painful crazy death.
Ok, enough being triggered. Can you tell I've got an opinion about vaccines and anti-vaxxers?

DNA is a silly fragile thing that requires living cells to repair. If it is labeled as a carcinogen then it can damage (aka mutate) your DNA. Virus not only can damage your DNA but they can edit chunks of your DNA. There's a pretty sizeable chunk of our (aka H. sapiens) DNA that is junk DNA from exposure to viruses. Some of that junk causes us grief in a myriad of ways from birth defects to cancer to mental health disorders (conjecture--it's been a long time since I read that source and may have been long since disproven)
To my knowledge medicines cannot be accepted if they are found to be carcinogenic or are no longer used if they are found to be a carcinogenic risk. At least that's what I remember.

No worries, I know what you are referring to. There's a huge amount of work being done in that field of research. Some recent successes and tons of failures.

@kML there are already gene editing techniques and the machinery to do it called CRISPR. Itâs fascinating and allows certain genetic characteristics to be transplanted from animal to animal like luminously from fish into frogs. The applications are almost limitless and itâs bound to be abused. One Chinese Doc was already sanctioned for using it on people. It can already be used to eliminate genetic disorders like sickle cell anemia.
In theory we could genetically engineer somewhat of a master race, smarter, faster etc. it may have already been done by some malevolent billionaires but we just donât know yet.
You have free will and the freedom to decide if you take any medicine but be sure to listen to credible experts and beware of âwhataboutismâ. When the global scientific community, Bill Gates, Dr. Fauchi and your primary care physician all recommended taking the vaccine. Maybe weigh that 1,000 x some blog posting saying it might alter your DNA.
Nick.

Exactly. We shouldnât be blinded by the science and mistakes happen. I was born in Europe at the time of the thalidomide tragedy. There were thousands of deformed kids born who suffered terribly. But as the scientific method dictates, lessons were learned and safeguards added. The FDA never allowed the drug to be used here which was a blessing.

Have you seen âI Am Legendâ ? Need I say more?
If you have an AR, a dog and lots of ammo... Vax away.
Otherwise take your chances on a virus that kills less than 1%.
By the way, I just invented a study that says mask wearing causes anal warts and athletes foot.
|
|
Yep... that was 60-70 years ago. Do you have any recent Vax type mass âmistakes?â
Do you have any idea how much science and testing have advanced in the last 70 years?
Will there always be problems when we introduce things into the body? Absolutely...
But... life expectancy in the 1950âs was 65.6 years... today... 78.3.
This âfearâ of vaccinations and pharmaceuticals is irrational. Caution... yes. Fear... naaaa.

lol if you are active on hx, the side effects aint got nothing on you.

@Perfect. Vaccines are a little different when it comes to easily transmissible diseases. You can choose to not take something like Advil or say heart medication. You can also choose to not get a tetanus shot. However when it comes to eradicating a disease so nobody needs a vaccine for it anymore (smallpox) then you need everyone to buy in. It really only takes just one person to reset decades of work.
I admit that I'm guilty of making snide, petty remarks towards anti-vaxx but then again I'm burnt out from dealing with extremists with real mental health issues who are emotionally invested in non-agreement.
Really it takes a soft sell with credible assurance that a vaccine is reasonably safer that the disease to a reasonable person (legal definition). That's not me.
So I respect your personal choice on medicine but when it comes to eradicating a threat to everyone then I do not agree.

âI don't believe in condoms myselfâ
Like... they donât exist?
|
|
Yep. Also every polio, measles, cowpox, ebola, hanta, chicken pox etc etc sample that every other country doing research on viruses has.
Worried? Nope. Not really. There have been incidents yes but the junk running around in the wild are more of a threat. Feel free to share your concerns with your local politicians if you feel controls today have not improved over the 1970s (the decade that I consider the worst number of incidents). I'm pretty sure nobody running labs in the US want to be guilty of re-releasing smallpox back into the wild. Tends to make people really, really unhappy.
@PC. Doh! (hides in shame)

Thatâs why I am always super careful in strange lavatories.

Do they still hide small ox in blankets?
|
|
Dear lord, I believe I've caught small ox. Someone will probably think the disease is a load of bull.
|
|
Yes some people are going to have bad reactions to this vaccine.
Those reactions are treatable. Far more manageable than Covid19.
