Georgia has this whole deal on hold.

California extends lockdown despite clear evidence they don't work
^Not true that they don't work. See link from Nature article.
Also California's new cases have been going down the last week or so. See link.
Lockdowns don't work at all. We're the state with over 2 million covid cases. The first in America. CA has been an abject failure. Mask mandates and Lockdowns don't work.
Defund EVERY HOSPITAL who has nurses choreographing TIK TOK VIDEOS.
“Lockdowns don't work at all. We're the state with over 2 million covid cases. The first in America. CA has been an abject failure. Mask mandates and Lockdowns don't work.”
We also have more densely populated areas than any other region except for New York. And many households in these areas have many people living in them, going to work at many different places.
There are confounding variables at play that make it impossible to say that the lockdowns and mask mandates haven’t worked. I showed you a paper that says in general lockdowns work. I showed that new cases are now going DOWN in California for the past week, perhaps due to the lockdown.
Lockdowns do work, as it has been shown in nations that enforce it, instead of addressing whiners who keep saying “oh no, I can’t socialize and go have a beer. I will risk my life and the lives of others because I can’t make social adjustments.”
I think my favorite part of the pro-lockdown “experts” & media is that they describe their interventions as “what we know works”
California has done “what we know works” for months and it continues to not work
I’d ask at what point they’ll admit it, but it’s apparently never

2020 San Francisco cause of death
621 drug overdose deaths
173 covid deaths
Imagine being such a worthless cuck you need the govt to keep you from getting a cold
^Tell that to the dead or the 10% of cases that go to the hospital.
Can't compare California to Florida in that graph because there are confounding errors. California has a lot more highly populated dense areas with therefore a lot more crammed housing, with different people going to different jobs. A recipe for very high transmission.

The weather got cooler in November, and people were spending more times indoors. We weren't under stay at home orders then. But because of the weather, transmission increased, and new cases started skyrocketing.
If you look at the data, new cases in California are going DOWN the last 7 days, a few weeks after stay at home orders were given.

New cases are not going down. You're full of excuses. You're faggot as fuck as well NR
Man, here's for things going to normal. Things are getting vicious. Things have degraded to insults...or maybe this is normal for HX...
😕

"New cases are not going down. You're full of excuses. You're faggot as fuck as well NR"
@ PA970deep
Let me explain basic things to you. Lockdowns are a direct result of idiots who don't follow safety protocols. The continued rise in Covid cases, despite the current lockdown, is a direct result of Thanksgiving family gatherings and now Christmas family gatherings and that cold weather is forcing people to meet indoors where transmission of the virus is much easier.
Now imagine how bad it would be if bars and restaurants were also open and wearing masks weren't mandated.
So to the dumb fucks who keep claiming that masks don’t work, that lockdowns don’t work, defund hospitals (that one was brilliant), etc., you (and people like you) are causing the problem that we are experiencing. It is because of you that the lockdowns are even necessary. Had you taken adequate precautions and had two brain cells to rub together, you’d understand how dangerous this virus is.

And here's a warning to all of you: I just read a notice from a hospital system in California on a private message board only for doctors (I’m dating a doctor and she showed me the post).
Doctors are now instructed to “ration” care to only those people who they feel have a high likelihood of survival.
That means if someone gets admitted to a hospital for whatever reason (Covid, a heart attack, head trauma from an accident, etc.), and they feel that they can better treat others because the likelihood of survival isn’t that high, they have been instructed to only give that person pain meds to make them more comfortable until they die.
That’s why all this talk about ICU beds being taken up is so critical. Doctors are being forced to make difficult choices of who they will attempt to save.
New cases in California are going down. Check the link.
I hope the data you’re quoting is correct, but the notice I referenced was from yesterday and experts believe that January is going to be a lot worse than December. I hope they’re wrong.
Show me an overrun hospital
I check the data every day. I live in Irvine. Numbers there for new cases have been going down too.
Hospitalizations are still going up because this is a lagging indicator. It may go up for a little while more. And deaths will eventually go up too, because it lags hospitalizations.
The change in new cases depends on a few factors. One is how many people follow the restrictions. If they don't, the numbers may go up again. Another factor as to what is going on is there is greater immunity now that so many people have gotten infected, and that level of immunity, in combination with the restrictions, could be pushing transmission down.
The people who believe COVID is overrunning hospitals are the new flat-earthers/science deniers. Y'all are a cult
That's how far this is going. It's not happening. Everything should be open NOW.

^More bullshit from this Russian troll
"Hospitals [in LA County] are so inundated that they've resorted to placing patients in conference rooms or gift shops. Some are contending with aging and insufficient infrastructure that threatens to interrupt the flow of life-saving oxygen."
Immunity has been projected to last for only 3 months.
Logically, infections will go up in January because it is easy to track how many people traveled during the Christmas holiday. And the roll out of the vaccine has been botched.
I’m not trying to be negative. People need to understand what is really happening.
No, there are studies now that show that immunity can last for at least 6 months, and if you had antibodies in the beginning, the chances of getting reinfected are very, very low relative to if you didn't have antibodies at the beginning.
See link.

^^Faggot China troll
Name the hospitals that are overrun
I only relay what doctors have been telling me, and the ones I’ve spoke with still believe immunity lasts for 3 months.
Then again, the study you quoted is less than a week old so maybe immunity does last for 6 months, but I believe that it is dependent on the severity of the reaction to the initial infection (as stated in the study you referenced). If a person was asymptomatic during the initial infection, it is believed that person’s immunity would be weaker than if the initial infection was severe.
^True. We often don't observe antibodies in asymptomatics.

@PA
UCI medical should still be near capacity. If you are a registered nurse go do some per diem there. I know they need plenty of help. No better way of seeing that shit first hand. I'd suggest volunteering but I think volunteering has been suspended...
Feel free to make some calls to UCI medical. If not then it's no sweat off my back. The sun is still gonna rise tomorrow and it won't impact my day if you still think this is a big hoax.

*neutralizing antibodies
Hey PA, why don’t you stop by LA USC and grab some flowers at the gift shop.
And see how they have had to put covid patients there because of overflow.
There's no refrigerated trailers and I've gone to a few hospitals that had nurses on their phones not doing shit. Yhey were just chilling. Its a big scam.
What utter bullshit.
Right now they are treating people inside the ambulances as there is no room in the hospital.
Pics or it didn't happen

For all you idiots praising Communist China
The states that have followed Fauci's sage advice are the *ABSOLUTE WORST* at handling the pandemic in the country: NJ, NY, MA, CT, RI...
Meanwhile, FL & GA are much better despite Fauci's caterwauling about loose guidelines.
(California is only saved by a huge population.)
ICU capacity is usually under 15%.
You need to remain in your home, seeing your livelihoods collapse under the weight of a government boot, so that the TikTok nurses can put together their latest masterpiece.
