The last time our country had a budget surplus the House and Senate was Republican majority. But now neither party cares about the deficit so don't kid yourself. And if u want to the truth the American people also don't care about the deficit and national debt.

Its not moot at all. Clinton's first 2 years were a fucking disaster until the House went Republican and set the path to balanced budgets. The thing is both parties spend like crazy because the people let them get away with it. Its not just the politicians that don't care. The people don't care.
