With the limitations of those receiving this payment at $75,000 income before being reduced, 85% of Americans will receive some of these benefits. It is not like we are living through a pandemic with hundreds of thousands out of work through no fault of there own and the economy is in the tank because a lot of jobs can't be done safely. I don't think we will have to worry about that with this team.

I’m guessing you want to argue that a move towards socialism isn’t socialism.
There are few (if any) pure socialistic societies in existence. All industrialized/modern societies have some form of socialistic policy... the questions are: to what degree... and how long are they sustainable. The closer to “socialism” the less sustainable they become.
California is the perfect example. It’s moves toward higher taxes, income redistribution, government determined and managed benefits are pushing tax generating businesses out of California. With that go jobs and retail income.
A significant portion of television and movie production has gone to Georgia and Louisiana (Not to mention Canada) In 20 years (without a change) most of it will be gone from CA. Tech and manufacturing is moving to Texas. The tax base is shrinking while taxes are increasing.
The climate is no longer enough to keep people here.
It’s not pure socialism.... but we are inching in that direction everyday. We will never become complete socialists... but we get close everyday.
