It's too cold for either and my boat hasn't ran for five years. With a little encouragement I could have it running by summer.

If you want to learn how to ride, there are several schools in the southland that will teach you how to and then, assuming you pass, will give you a form allowing you to not have to take the DMV lollipop riding test. Itâs like $400 and takes two 8-hour days. At that point, you take the DMV motorcycle written test, present your riding pass and they add a M1 endorsement to your license.

You should get your boat running.

@lamar sounds like a âfair weather riderâ.
SoCal has riding weather all year round. As long as it doesnât rain on your way to a destination, ride on.

Yep, you're the only one who owns a Harley. Or... Maybe when I work on mine, I fix it.

Absolutely! I donât ride for transportation... I ride for pleasure. Cold, wind, rain, snow, ice... no thank you. Those days are over for me... unless there is some special circumstance.
I used to ride in every type of weather ... but now... itâs like that commercial of the man watching his sons shovel snow. He tells his wife, matter of factly.... âPffft Iâm not going out there.â
