The bill is going nowhere. So go fret and make a big deal out of it while ignoring wannabe dictator Trump's continued effort to throw out the legitimate election results and has now been caught on tape illegally requesting the Secretary of State of Georgia to find him an additional 11,000+ votes. You keep squawking about your constitutional rights being taken away from you in the name of public health, in the name of trying to stop the out of control surge of covid infections and deaths now projected to go as high as a half-million in the US. But you don't seem to get outraged by the greatest threat to our Democracy in our nation's history. Even during the Civil War the people's votes were upheld. If you are a true patriot, you can't support a man who is lusting for power and is only to happy to throw Democracy under the bus to get it.

Funny how Trump ass lickers like PA conveniently ignore the 50 lawsuits initiated by Trump that were all turned down by the courts and the two law suits to the Supreme Court that were also turned down. And the illegal call made to the Secretary of State in Georgia to reject legitimate vote tallies but you think it is legitimate to just repeat what Trump says as if it has some sort of credibility. You do understand that lack of objectivity, blind obedience and worship of a single individual is what defines a cult follower don't you? Here is the actual definition of a cult "A cult is a group or movement held together by a shared commitment to a charismatic leader or ideology. It has a belief system that has the answers to all of life's questions and offers a special solution to be gained only by following the leader's rules". So continue on your merry way licking Trump's ass, channeling whatever he says because you, like all cult followers, are unable to think on your own. You may have heard of Bill A416, a proposed law in New York that would grant the Governor the ability to imprison or deport anyone he deems to be a "public health threat".
But it's actually way worse than that.
Not only does A416 give Cuomo the ability to detain and remove people without trial, appeal or oversight, it would also grant that power to anyone he wishes. "Including, but not limited to" means pretty much whoever he wants.
This bill turns the Governor into an overlord who can appoint anyone he wishes to remove whomever they wish, as long as they decide that person is a "threat".
Given the government's track record on civil liberties, just picture how that could be used in the future.
The reference to "clear and convincing evidence" is a smokescreen, because there's no due process here for them to have to prove it in court. Every person in NY can be ruled a "threat".
This isn't guilty until proven innocent. This is guilty with no chance to prove innocence

People used to say the same thing, actually even worse, about seat belt laws 40 years ago. How can the fucking government require that I wear a seat belt in my car. Obviously, the legal consequences are a lot different but the principle is the same. Conservatives used to believe in states' rights except when it comes to an election that defeats their candidate. The hypocrisy will never cease.

. Republican Majority in PA senate refuse to swear in Dem Sen. Jim Brewster because the election is being contested by the Republican challenger Nicole Ziccarelli
2. Republicans then voted to remove Lt. gov because he insisted Brewster should be seated 3. Republicans then voted to certify every other senate contest EXCEPT the Brewster vs Ziccarelli race

Even “purported” certificates must be signed by Electors that were appointed in the Manner the State Legislatures directed (Art. II, sec. I). Cleary, that didn’t happen. Thus, Pence can & should exclude them before Jan. 6 under the procedures for NON-RECEIPT (3 USC 12 & 13). All State Legislatures require the appointment of Electors to be based on non-fraudulent elections. Clearly, the evidence of fraud is massive & expanding and therefore such Electors were not appointed in the Manner the State Legislatures directed (as req. by U.S. Constitution).

First off the courts haven't ruled on evidence. They've ruled on standing and other technicalities. Its pretty clear you have no idea what u our talking about since you regurgitate MSM talking points. 2nd swing states held unconstitutional elections. They changed election laws without state legislatures approval. Thus Pence will throw out those electors bigly. Just you watch. Starting tomorrow, for Trump, only good things will happen.

Please clarify... the names of proposed electors in the bill... are they new electors? Do the old electors just disappear?
Is this just a straight 50% +1 vote... or is there a higher threshold to pass? Do you know the make-up of the AZ legislature?
All of this seems like bullshit... but it will be fascinating if it happens.

-It requests he delay certification (the count) until SCOTUS hears case "in coming days".
For all intents and purposes, the letter is a decert.

State legislatures only need a simple majority, 50%+1. Last I checked AZ has GOP majority in both houses of legislature, 17-13 in Senate and 31-29 in House. WI, GA and PA are proposing basically same resolution. Decertify Biden and retroactively certify Trump electors.
