Yep, no doubt a coup attempt and criminal behavior--just so stupid and incompetent--not surprising.
None of this has any suspense--we know how it ends.
On one hand I hope when these yahoos are beaten and arrested, they are charged with Federal crimes so T**** will be put in a corner deciding if he will pardon them, condoning this.
On other hand, hope the charges are not Federal so T**** will have no pardon option...

And this is what happens when the people who swore an oath, who are representatives of the People, who work for us (not the other way around), turn a blind eye. A blind eye to an illegal election, an election in which States violated their own State Constitutions and staged an illegal vote. A blind eye turned over and over and over again, at every turn. Every Court. Every State Assembly. Every avenue of the checks and balances. Ignored.
And they ignored the will of the People. But a message was sent today, and now they know.
We the People can and will take the House and the Senate if necessary. They work for US. Not the other way around. Hopefully the days of these corrupt motherfuckers will come to a close.
To quote Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence:
"...[w]hen a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Called out T***** for inciting--that's essentially an indictment of Donny
Called on T***** to do his duty to protect the Constitution and use his office to stop this.
His advisors are beating him up yet he refuses.

They attacked the United States Capitol Building. While Congress was seated and in session. They attacked and injured capitol police officers, breached building security, vandalized the Capitol building, ignored legit orders to stop.
They then invaded a US Government building, disrupted Congress and forced them to adjourn. While in middle of a sacred ritual connected to US continuity of power.
They were caught with arms and bombs. The barricaded Congress forced a standoff.
Congressional members had to be evacuated.
This is a coup. This is insurrection. This is terrorism against the very foundation of the USA.
So when a dim bulb like Jazz tries to say "let's change the subject... other people maybe did some bad stuff once. I prefer to discuss that instead"

"Hours after supporters of President Trump forced lawmakers from the floor of the Senate and House of Representatives, the Business Roundtable, a group of chief executives from some of the nation’s largest companies, called on the president and other officials to “put an end to the chaos and facilitate the peaceful transition of power.”
“The chaos unfolding in the nation’s capital is the result of unlawful efforts to overturn the legitimate results of a democratic election,” the organization posted on Twitter.
The National Association of Manufacturers, one of the country’s largest lobbying groups, suggested that Vice President Mike Pence should consider invoking a provision of the 25th Amendment that allows members of the president’s cabinet to temporarily remove him from power.
“Anyone indulging conspiracy theories to raise campaign dollars is complicit,” the association said. “Vice President Pence, who was evacuated from the Capitol, should seriously consider working with the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to preserve democracy.”

Yes he came out about the Portland violence on August 30.......on his campaign website....
He did also at a Philadelphia speech on June 2, saying there is no place for violence.
But at NO time did he speak out against BLM or Antifa that were propagating the violence and Nancy and Chuck did not speak out and there was nothing at the Democratic National Convention speaking out against people on the left that were creating unrest and violent actions.

Many of us over the last few months have warned about violence by Trump supporters. Also groups like the Proud Boys, oath Keepers, and QAnon have been called out. By him. I am sure most of us remember Trump calling out the Proud Boys to stand by or some such language. He even failed to condemn the QAnon crazies. Trump also organized this rally to coincide with the certification of electors. Then he called out for his supporters to get wild. Not only did his rhetoric cause this but he also organized this. He must be held accountable. I and others have warned that Trump was organizing his version of the Brownshirts. Well we saw them today. The Nazis lied about the Reichstag fire to mobilize for Hitler. Well Trump used his stolen election shit in much the same way.
People on this site criticized me for saying there might not be a peaceful transfer of power. Well what we saw today was an attempt at just that.
