I am learning that there is a difference between self-quarantine and self-isolation. Quarantine is the term for someone being isolated when they have been exposed to the virus but are not showing symptoms. Isolation is the term for someone who has gotten sick and is showing symptoms and is isolating themselves until they recover from the illness and are no longer contagious.
