We are already in line for the funds and have our spot reserved. When the governments giving out a loan for two months of payroll at 1%, that’s easy money. Can put it in an online savings account and make 0.7% on the free money.

Yes, both PPP and EIDL....had to revise the paperwork 3 times but finally completed on Sunday afternoon. Over 70billion has been approved but NO funding has been given out as yet....its a fucking quagmire with the banks vetting the applications. If you have a relationship with a banker, it is easier....If you are with Wells Fargo....if you havent sent it in yet ...you are screwed....they capped thier risk portolio at 10Billion and are closed to new applications.
Now congress is requesting another potential $250 Billion because they think current funding will be inadequate.

Yes. Both. So far so good. Although they still don’t have it all worked out. Submitted EIDL app online Sunday and PPP app and supporting documents to our bank. Got the receipt notice from the bank yesterday and a call that it was reviewed and in the pipeline. Now we will see what happens.
Hey... I am thankful. We have enough cash reserves to make through 3-4 months of operations... but... a loan at 1%, no fees and most of it can be forgiven...
I’d rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
Let’s see what happens.

clients are finding it tough to find a bank last week that would accept an application...some run payroll and checking thru the banks for 20 years, but if they have never gotten a bank loan or credit card they don't qualify with that bank??? something needs to be fixed there
looks like most banks have met the quota for applications
cpa's are on the phone 10hrs a day trying to help clients with this stuff...good thing the deadline is extended.

if you don't have business credit "with another" institution and have business checking...you can qualify
looks like they will have to extend this program...very successful small business's whether they are affected or not are using it. some that need it are having real issues trying to get it or inline and it might run out?

If you are not already in the que... you are fucked in this round. Mnuchin says there will be a second round of small business stimulus.
We have relationships with 3 banks. One isn’t participating. One said we didn’t meet the qualifications. One sent us the application on Thursday. We were ready to submit by end of day Friday... but held it until Sunday (wanting to make sure we understood everything. Sent it in to make sure we got in line.

We bank with Chase. Submitted the request to get in line on Friday. Got an email link to file the app yesterday. Website crashed three times. Finally got the paperwork submitted. Applied for only what we needed, but possible we made a mistake on the app.
Still waiting for a response from Chase. I�m thinking they�re swamped and it�ll take a couple more days at least.
