Also if businesses don't reopen by May 1st in LA county, there will probably be
may businesses that will never reopen. If some businesses don't get the
stimulus loans by the end of April, it will probably be too late if they get it later.
Staying closed until May 15th, will probably destroy the restaurant industry.
And the Libs will put the blame on Trump.
I believe this pandemic will help Trump will by a landslide in Nov.
The pandemic has shut down Biden's campaign and he seems to be
missing in action.
If I were Biden, I would at least act like I was trying to contribute to the
solution. The Liberals and media just continue to criticize any action he takes.
But their answer to the pandemic doesn't seem to make good sense.
They suggest we stay home until we get the virus under control. NOT PRACTICAL!

This pandemic won't benefit Trump, he's in charge and all he does is blame, he doesn't take responsibility for anything. Look at the amount of Coronavirus deaths in this country and we had advance notice. His administration was not prepared and is unqualified to handle this situation.
What's Trump's solution? To put his unqualified son-in-law on the job. The last thing we need is someone with no public health expertise making policy decisions simply because he's a part of the family.

That Trump tells the truth when he opens his mouth
That Trump accepts responsibility when he's wrong or when he makes mistakes
That Trump listens to his advisors/experts and is able to comprehend what he is told
That Trump handled this pandemic well
....that he acted quickly and prudently,
....that he mitigated the number of deaths and the economic loss to this country
....that all of this was unforeseen and unavoidable
That Trump will do the right thing for the American people over his own self benefit
If you believe these things, then you're pretty much hopeless.

I’m not a big fan of Hillary, but during a crisis like this, at least I’d feel reassured that she’s undeniably smart, values science, and would have likely acted much sooner to stop the spread of this pandemic.
You see, I’ve attended schools with self-aggrandizing, talentless losers like Trump. Trust fund babies who couldn’t get into a good school without their parents’ help, that failed their way to the top, and, when given the opportunity to prove what they are worth, they shit the bed royally. I am worried because I know exactly the type of loser he is.
The average American is mesmerized by shiny objects, but typically fails to recognize when it’s a gold-plated turd.

Hey, it's Granite again. Looking to mix it up. I've never been a registered Democrat; I've voted for both parties.
There are many groups who have supported Trump: (1) Evangelical Christians who tolerate him because he promotes their agenda, (2) the xenophobic, white nationalists, and racists who he appeals to with his policies, (3) the greedy bastards who financially benefit from him, and (4) the morons who don't know any better and like him because of his celebrity.
You don't have to be well-educated to understand that he's a conman, that he isn't that smart, that he lacks morals/ethics, and that he cares about himself more than he does about this country or its citizens. It should be obvious to everyone.
Based on what I've written, I think it is pretty clear that I think only idiots would continue to support Trump after seeing how he's acted in office and how he's handled this pandemic.

The quote was...."I CAN listen to 35 people" .....not I will listen to 35 people. Let alone actually considering what they had to say or that the people he would talk to were worth talking to.
The reality is, he will call a couple of people for advice. None of them will be Scientists or experts in what is going on. They will be celebrities and Corporate owners, his kids, etc. This has been documented many times. If he wants advice on when the economy should reopen...he isnt listening to Fauci...he is listening to corporate leaders who want to stop a depression and all those stocks corporations bought with their tax cuts (instead of raising employee salaries) from tanking.
Trump has handled this poorly from the beginning. He did some things of course. But for the most part he blew it up until the second week of March when he decided to start treating this more like an inconvenient pandemic instead of overhyped fake news. For comparison look at South Korea. They had their first diagnosis on the same day as the USA and handled it seriously and aggressively. Look where they are at compared to us. We are the worst in the world, and worse off than we know because the Trump administration failed to prioritize testing early on.
